Name one SEC town that is worse. I can't think of one. Auburn is shitty but I would still rank it ahead of Starkville. Both Columbias suck but they are still better than Starkville. Tuscaloosa once really sucked but it has gotten a lot better in the last 5-10 years. But even when Tuscaloosa was at its worst it was still better than Starkville. Baton Rouge is very dangerous and shitty but they still have more stuff going on than Starkville.

There's as much going on in Starkville as there is in Oxford, so you can't nitpick at one without mentioning the other. Starkville and Oxford both have a couple of amenities that the other lacks, but as far as what to do, same fricking things.

Isn't Mugshots the best bar in Starkville? I mean that town is truly pathetic. The only part of Starkville that is remotely cool is the Cotton District. Oxford is highly overrated as well, but the Square in Oxford is enough to make it much better than Starkville. Although the people in Oxford are much worse than the people in Starkville.

See, you say stupid things like this and try to form an opinion about a place you are clueless about. Mugshots is nowhere near the best bar in Starkville. It isn't even in the top 10. It's not even a damn bar.

Thank you for listing the numbers. Looking at this, what jumps out to me is that Kirby Smart is going to get a really nice raise pretty soon I think.

Y'all would be so lucky to have Mullen. I wanted UGA to strongly consider him when we got rid of Richt. Face it, your program is not elite. It's mediocre at best. While at State Mullen has beaten every Big 6 team except for Bama. Is there another coach in the SEC that can say the same? And he has done it primarily with three star recruits (with the occasional 4 and 5 star thrown in). The guy is a great offensive mind and a true QB developer. Texas A&M is the epitome of an 8-5 program, and y'all are all weirdos.

Programs are only as good as their coach. Mullen has had 9 years at State and contended in exactly zero of them.

He primary cannot recruit according to you and even if he can develop QBs, it doesn't amount to more than 7 or 8 wins. Thru his first 8 years he's averaged 7.6 wins per. Like I said he's mediocre at State and would likely be mediocre at A&M. We already have that. I want to take a shot at better.

I use Clicklist at Kroger. They bring it to my car.

How many wins was State averaging before he got there? In those nine seasons he has already accumulated the second most wins in program history. Seven straight bowl appearances is a program record. He has recruited well for Miss State. We are still waiting to see what Kirby will become, but as of right now he is the second best coach in the SEC.

He interviewed for the Texas A&M job when Sumlin was hired.

7 straight bowl wins mean you were 5-7 or better for 7 years. That doesn't mean shite.

He's done a good job at State. A&M wants to go for better than good.

He may be the 2nd best coach in a conference full of bad coaches. Most of them are getting fired within the next 2 years or were just hired or both.

Well, best depends on your age group and what you are looking for. College aged kids are going to want to go to Rick's, Cowbells, the Cotton district bars which consist of Bin 612, 2 brothers, Stagger In, The Fountain Bar, or Drifters.

I like to go to the Beer Garden, Upstairs at Tyler, The Veranda, Bulldog Burger Company, Dave's, or The Guest Room.

I can give you a list of good food too if you'd like...or you can just use google and not just assume all we have is a goddamn Mugshots.

And here ladies and gentlemen, we encounter yet another soul who failed to read the Nick Saban book on coaching. Please allow me to help. "It doesn't matter who says what or what has been done. At the end of the day, it's always about one thing.....money."

If UF or UT show Mullin the money......he is gone.

You have no self awareness whatsoever. Nobody better than Mullen will want to go to Texas A&M. You should be thankful if he even considers A&M. Have y'all ever won a NC? What was your best season the last 20 years? I can only recall one good season (2012) in the last 20. Y'all are a joke of a program.

Clearly, you're just butthurt or severely lack reading comprehension. Being a Dawg fan, I wouldn't be shocked about either.

Please explain how I am butthurt or how I lack reading comprehension. I just looked it up. Y'all have only had two seasons with 10 or more wins in the last two decades. Pathetic.

Mullen has been good at State. Always has a decent to above avg qb. Is usually competitive in all games. Was ranked #1 in nation at Miss St. pretty damn impressive

He can’t recruit RB’s or at least it seems they always suck or very avg. He would win at UF as he would always have a good QB. Unlike Meyer, he knew what Cam was all about.
