It seems like when he first got to the SEC, he would run anything at anytime. Tons of formations and tons of creativity. I know he doesn't have Cam or Marshall, but yesterday was awful. Seems like they ran two plays. Run up the middle and see how far Stidham could throw it.

Stidham can’t run. They were showing it yesterday. Zone read and not one single LSU player thought Stidham was going to keep it.

Cam and Nick Marshall left.

SEC DCs have figured out the gimmicks.

What happened is the SEC officials started throwing penalties and watching for OL moving more than 3 yards up the field. This trickery was a staple of Malzahns offense.

They ran the ball twice in the second half except for short yardage. There's no secret to beat LSU, you have to pound them and stay patient with them and use the lack of depth against them. Don't get me wrong LSUbis getting better every week and deserve a ton of credit but the depth issues didn't suddenly disappear.

Zebras stopped allowing RPO throws with OL 5-7 yds downfield.
barns best tacklers are still their OT's.

His offense needs a dual threat qb, Stidham isn’t a bad qb, he just doesn’t fit the gus bus system, no clue why he chose Auburn.

They started throwing for some retarded reason. LSU’s defense had zero ability to stop the run up the middle. Auburn’s line was absolutely blowing LSU’s off the ball. They would run for 5 yards on first down, throw incomplete on second, run for 4 yards on 3rd down, and punt. It was unbelievable. If they would have just stopped wasting time throwing the ball, or gone for it on 4th and short, they likely win that game.

Auburn likes to run up the middle. But I've said for years of you make them operate in the middle they're dead as a post.

All of y'all are fricking wrong. It has nothing to do with the read option or the OL. The mother fricker doesn't have a killer instict. He got up 20-0 & became content. Did anybody hear his halftime comments?? Compare his half time talk to Saban's. I hate that short bastard but damn he's good. The GOAT of coaching in my 22 years. He let his foot off the gas pedal & it cost him. That cost him the tittle against FSU as well. Coaching is the issue, Gus is the issue. I don't post much, but god dang I can't stay silent after yesterday. He has to go.
