Update, now 50+ Dead, 400+ injured in Las Vegas shooting

Stephen Paddock is the shooter, and has been taken out. Another Person of interest, believed to be Marilou Danley, is in police custody.
Suspects used an explosive device to get into the hotel room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay casino where opened fire on a crowd of an outdoor concert.
Sounds like an automatic weapon being fired. No motive established yet.

Ya I woke up and saw that, the videos people have are terrifying trying to figure out if they should try and make a break for it or just stay down.

You look at the location of the shooting, and realize that there's literally nowhere to run, nowhere to hide in that situation.

people laugh and mock all you want, but the environment right now is ripe for an actual shooting war in this country

Maybe, but we've had unrest on a much larger scale as recently as the 1960s and early 1970s.
Back then you had civil rights violence, anti-Vietnam violence, independence movements from various groups like Puerto Rico and all of them violent.
People were bombing all kinds of targets, there were mass riots that went on for days, and on and on and on. It was so bad you had the National Guard INSIDE the Democratic Convention for president in 1968.
It may reach that point but we aren't there yet.

Had friends there. They all survived, thankfully.
One hid behind a truck for cover. He was a war veteran from Afghanistan. The other is a police officer. My buddy's wife had gone there with friends -- she's okay today.
One of my friends is going to be interviewed on the news today. Maybe even the Today Show, I'm not sure.
It was like a war-zone. Utterly horrific, I've heard.

Yeah, people don't want to hear it.... The United States was not meant to last forever as it is now. It will come to an end at some point...World History shows that world powers change, evolve, and fall over time...and the Bible tells us what the future will be for this Earth...

I was supposed to be there. A friend's wedding caused that change of plans this year. My family attends Route 91 every year. My parents decided to skip the last night because my brother and I weren't there with them. It's all surreal right now.

Though my friends survived, their friends did not. Three of the those lost were connected to me through mutual friends.

Everything will come to an end at some point, but it won't have anything to do with deities conjured thousands of years ago. Blows my mind that people living in the 21st century still believe biblical nonsense.
