LINK“And we ask our players, aight, to play for 60 minutes in the game, but yet I’m looking in the stands -- now this never used to be this way -- and the place is half empty by the time we get to the fourth quarter. So, why should the players play for 60 minutes if you’re not willing to stay committed to be a part of the team.

“You all want to be a part of the team when we win. Why don’t you stay committed for 60 minutes and stay there and support the players who are doing a hell of a lot more and working a lot harder to try to satisfy you and what you want than anything that you’re doing by staying at the game for a whole game?"

Why post this when LSU fans leave also? Are fans are the worse about leaving early.

He'd be really pissed if he was the head coach at LSU last week.

Why didn't Orgeron call out the LSU fans. Does he care? Maybe he's scared to call them out. He has a lot less job security than Saban, so Saban has the luxury to care if fans leave early.

I think he forgets that fans pay for tickets. If they want to buy a ticket and stay for 5 minutes and leave, it's none of his business. He needs to stick to coaching, what's sad is bama fans hail him as king so they'll do whatever he says.

It's strictly recruiting.

It's not sad. He's a good coach and he made a good point.

I get where he is coming from but the fans don't get paid millions to be there, the fans don't have a future career making millions by being there, the fans don't have portacools sitting two feet away, the fans don't have essentially servants waiting on them...

Some fans have shite to do or a long drive ahead.

If he really wants the seats full, open the gates at half time.

I've always stayed until the end. But I don't care if anyone wants to leave early.

I've never left during an SEC game - but it's hard to justify boiling half-alive in the September or October sun when it's 90+ degrees against Directional State U. Sorry, Coach, but I'm going to Innisfree to legally drink and blow down in the bathrom.

Gives the male Bama fans a taste of their own medicine. Their wives are normally the ones getting abused.

If he told you to sacrifice your first born this would still be your response.

What does that have to do with fans leaving early at a football game?

LSU last week with 8:03 left in the 3rd Quarter.

LSU 28 Syracuse 26 Late 4th on ESPN2 I’m not sure what’s more disheartening, how LSU is playing or seeing Tiger Stadium that empty.

Guilbeau: Sluggish LSU survives in front of dearly departed crowd at Vacant Valley

GLENN GUILBEAU | THE DAILY ADVERTISER

11:29 am CDT September 25, 2017

As LSU (3-1, 0-1 Southeastern Conference) struggled through a horrendous first quarter of 10 yards on 10 plays and led by just 14-3 at the half and could not put The Orange (2-2, 0-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) away in the third quarter, the stadium with all the mystique became myth as thousands exited leaving about 20,000 for the nervous final minutes.

Ed Orgeron Responds To Question About Fan Support, Tiger Stadium Attendance

"First of all, I love our fanbase, Orgeron said. "I think they are fantastic. I know they are going support us."

"Obviously, we would like to see them throughout the whole game but I know the big SEC games... there will be 102,000 strong there. I love our fans support and I think it's going to get better the more games we win."

Sounds like he's given up on LSU fans.

Saban hasn't given up on Bama fans. At least he cares.

Start selling beer, and people might stick around for a blowout.
