Miss St. defense is overrated. They haven't played anyone yet.
Wins over Danny Etling and a couple of FCS schools? Gimme a break. We're going to expose their overrated defense and their overrated QB this Saturday.
That kid won't get near 100 yds against us.

Have not witnessed that in Starkville.

Don't get too excited.
Check out Lousville's rankings before and after our bowl game with them :)

Want to see something really funny... check out Louisville's defensive rankings last year vs this year.

I'm more worried about the riots when Sanford Stadium staff won't allow cow bells to be taken inside.
On top of that, how is MSU supposed to get anything going? Everyone knows their inner power and strength only comes from the 'Bell.

State's safety core is really good with Abrams (Georgia fans should remember him),
We do. We hated to lose him. You guys got a good with him.

Ironically, LSU fans were using Louisville as a barometer for how our game would play out too. That worked out well for them.

This is silly. Georgia hasn't even played a ranked team yet. Our defensive starters have given up a total 2 touchdowns in 3 games. If our defense is overrated, then I don't know what to tell you.

Notre Dame was ranked when we played them....the same thing you will say later when referring to LSU as your opponent

Miss St. recruiting is garbage and Grantham is coaching your defense. You've skated by so far but now you will be exposed for what your team is on Saturday. You'll go back to Starkville and lose to Bama and Auburn and your season will be done. It starts this weekend.

You sound a lot like an LSU fan did last week. You're gonna sound like an LSU after the game too.

I hate to break it to you... but Grantham doesn't recruit well. He doesn't develop depth. And when he gets everything out of what he has inherited, he bolts for the next opportunity.
He left UGA and Louisville depleted. We were playing so many freshmen after he left, it was ridiculous.
The joke will be on you. No way in hell, Todd Grantham is at Miss State 4 years from now.

It is what it is. #1 rush defense in the nation at Louisville and we run for a bowl record.
That was with Chubb. Thank god he came back. This game will be a fun one to watch.

We've had fruit basket turnover at the DC spot the last few years, so we haven't depended on the DC to recruit anyway.

In case you haven't noticed, he inherited some pretty good talent.

He will be there Saturday coaching somebody else's talent, so I guess you just summed up why you seem so concerned pretty well with that last post.

Grantham was good at uga.
But he was fighting for a job in the NFL (always keeping starters in for the shutout, pumping up his own stats despite the need to develop the younger players).
He is who he is... not a guy who coaches for tomorrow (which is great until it is tomorrow).

Could you do me a favor and break down the defensive starters and backups at MSU and tell me their recruiting profile? You (like LSU fans last week) seem to think you know an awful lot about MSU's defensive personnel when in reality you are completely ignorant on the subject. Thanks in advance.

Coaches evolve. They learn. They fail. They adjust.
15 years ago, Nick Saban was worried about getting back to the NFL. Is that the case anymore?
Be careful about looking backward to predict the future. There's been a lot of road paved since the last time Grantham was in Athens.
