I don't think it's as much of them being busts as it is them being drafted higher than their actual talent. And that's not an insult, it's an observation.

When running behind the Bama OL, the defenses get worn out and these guys are able to break big runs. Basically it's hard for scouts to figure out if it's the RB that's good or the OL that's good or a combo of both.

Isn't that more yards per carry than Fournette had this weekend?

A MUCH better question would be why the OP, literally, can't go 10 minutes without having a penis in his mouth?

Not true...many bammers are solid contributors at their position. Running backs, in general, have been downgraded throughout the NFL...not just bammers.

Mark Ingram - has been on the same team for going on 7 seasons. I assume they think something of him or that would not be the case.

Eddie Lacy - Had some good seasons in GB. Wasn't he a 2nd or 3rd round pick? Hardly a bust for where he was selected.

Derrick Henry - Played 17 games so far and been productive when given the chance. How exactly has he been a bust? For a 2nd round pick I think he is progressing just fine.

Trent Richardson - For where he was selected no doubt he was a bust.

TJ Yeldon - I never thought his running style would translate to the NFL that well. Very good college back, but imo was always going to be just an average NFL back. For a 2nd round selection he has had an average NFL career.

Did you know that Bammer fans contribute to a secret fund which is given to the Owner of the Saints to keep Mark Ingram as the Saints RB just we can listen to the melt?

True story bro... I gave $50 this year

Mark Ingram

His team sucks again, and we have a lot a RB's to test out in NO. Also, that's over three yards a carry.

quote:

Derrick Henry- 6 carries for 25 yards

Over four yards per carry.

quote:

Eddie Lacy- 5 carries for 3 yards

Older and fatter, but let's ignore all those years in Green Bay I guess.

Trent Richardson- out of the league

Das a bust.

Kinda busty, but younger more NFL-ready (so far) Fournette is in town. What you gonna do, not play the young safety-crusher?

Oh Good God. This same desperation troll. Why do y'all try this every other week? And do you Bama fans always let yourselves be goaded into responses every other week? Both sides need to just drop this damned thing. It's not clever, it's not original, and it's not worth getting your hackles up about.

Because Saban can afford a better Oline at Bama.

Even if we were to accept this bullshite as fact, isn't it that much more embarrassing that Saban has been able to dominate the SEC with backs that fail to live up to expectations in the NFL, all while other programs with elite backs that go on to have success in the NFL struggle to run on Bama? Seriously... if anything this is an indictment on the run defense in the SECw teams & Tennessee who Bama plays every year if these so called subpar running back "busts" are able to continually have success year after year against you.
