Do State fans really think they can win against LSU?

I keep seeing State fans predict they will beat LSU this year in an upset.

Since 2000, LSU is 16-1 against you. Do Mississippi State fans honestly think this is a real expectation?

Just by talent alone on LSU's side, this game won't be competitive.

Who doesn't think its even possible for them to win. Theyre as probably as talented as Wisconsin. They have a good head coach. I mean its not unimaginable.

You used your 5th post ever to talk MSU v LSU?

There are some underlying issues going on here, my friend. Seek help, not tRant

Yes. But it won't be an upset. We will probably be favored. we also gave Ogre his last loss at OM too so he is probably expecting a loss. If he goes for it on 4th/29 again at midfield y'all are toast.

I think they can. Early season game, electric playmaker, night game, etc.

I don't think it is probable, but it's definitely possible.

The talent gap was the same or bigger last year and you won at home by 3.

Good point, the team with the most talent always wins

The coaching gap is just as big or bigger than the talent gap.

The one blowout win that LSU has over MSU in the Mullen era was a three point game in the fourth quarter.

Then you shouldn't be worried at all.

What happened last time state faced an Ed Ogeron led team?

I wouldn't consider it an upset. We lost by 3 points last year in BR with a horrible DC. Our quarterback was just learning the offense. I believe our defense will be vastly improved this year and I expect Fitz to begin the season where he left off last year. I would give the advantage this year to the home team.

Lol i love how people use..this was the last time you beat them and etc. Every year is different. Lsu doesnt appear as strong this year losing key pieces and a lot of unproven talent. Etling is average at best. Miss state 20 lsu 13

This is what Ole Miss fans always do to shift focus away from their Ncaa problems. An obvious alt who just signed up to post about MSU. OM is still getting the hammer despite the number of alts and fake posts.

Regardless if I believe we win or loss, we tend to play LSU tough at home.

Umm. LSU has won by a grand total of 5 points combined for the past two years. If we had a competent place kicker, we are on a three game win streak vs LSU.

The game is in Starkville and you have Ed Orgeron as the head football coach.

So yes.. the game is very winnable.

No they don't. They would be legitimately retarded if they thought they had any chance whatsoever.

I predict a win. It's in Starkville, State will be improved and Coach O is arguably the worst coach in the conference. State lost by 3 last year and State was awful last year. I don't see how State could lose.
