Yep, I've said the same thing many times. But, this isn't the first instance where things like this go unreported. The mega baptist church in Memphis (where Freeze has spoken several times, go figure) Bellevue had a disgusting scandal that went unreported for 17 YEARS involving child molestation by an assistant pastor. And even when the pastor told the head minister, he still waited 6 months to report, which is against the law. His excuse for not disclosing was equally disgusting. he was afraid it would damage the church. That is the type of thinking that goes along with stories like this too many times. Too many people have an arse backwards way of reasoning.

Just goes to show the power and prestige a head football coach in the SEC has. Freeze had pretty much brought Ole Miss back. No one wanted to touch that.

Then why the hell would we just hear about it now? All these people pretending like they know shite is pissing me off. If y'all had known this shite, where were you when Hugh was hired? The only accurate predictions I've seen on this board are broad statements like "Hugh is in deep shite" or "Ole Miss is fricked."
With how many rich OM fans live in Memphis and send their kids to private school, I have trouble believing one of the parents or family friends of an abused girl wouldn't have ruined Hugh immediately.
Yep! And what spurred these girls after all this time to run to Facebook with their stories only days after Freeze resigns?
Where have they been hiding, where have their parents been hiding? Why have they sat back and allowed Briarcrest to make Hugh Freeze a legend?

Parents did complain. I know that as a fact.

I'm not saying I had direct knowledge. The people with direct knowledge had the responsibility of talking. They chose not to, for whatever reason.

Believe it or not, rich people don't want to be involved in a scandal that would hurt their own reputations, as odd as that may sound. I think it's dumb and my parents certainly would not have reacted that way had my sister been a victim, but some people do.

This kind of thought process frustrates the frick out of me.

They complained but to the wrong people. Complaining is filing a police report, not just notifying the headmaster of the school.

Is this really necessary? The man is ruined,
the truth is always necessary especially when a man has been acting like he better than everyone...hypocrites deserve everything they get. Why does anyone feel sorry for him. I can see his wife and kids and the ole miss players but he deserves to be exposed.

IF the rumors about HF having any type of "relations" with a minor prove to be true...we could have another
Gary Plauche > Jeff Doucet
Gary Plauche > Jeff Doucet

They just sat back & watched Briarcrest not only do nothing to reprimand Freeze but watched the school embrace him and make him a Legend on campus as he rode off to a multi-million dollar coaching career?

But they could've come forward well before Hugh got the Ole Miss job. I'm in college, so I don't have my own kids, but if someone molested one of my nieces, I would work day and night to get that person to prison.
If I couldn't get him to prison, I'd take a shotgun and blow his brains out. I damn sure wouldn't let that guy become even a position coach at any SEC school.

I don't have the time or energy to explain how this works. We have seen this multiple times at churches, schools, universites. It happens a lot. Since the beginning of time. Come on..

After the nature and extent of what Penn State covered up for decades...nothing surprises me anymore.

I just hope he's not referring to the Briarwood (Crest? Patch?) thing. I'd rather is be point shaving or pretty much anything other than that.
I agree. It crosses the line if it involves Briarcrest.

After he has ruined the program once, he comes back for seconds.

That's not how things work. Money and power talk. Surely you've ready the story of the UA student that was allegedly raped by the guy in Tuscaloosa that is well connected in town. Not the same situation, but private schools are notorious for sweeping these type things under the rug.

I could be wrong but weren't those kids who weren't well off though or maybe even orphans? I can see them being intimidated or being ignored. I can't see upper middle to wealthy parents letting this shite happen or being ignored.
