Phil Steele has them at #32 in his Power Poll. Which is #8 in the SEC.
Also has them tied for 5th in the West with...wait for it...Arkansas.

Don't see the West straying too far from expectations. A&M may surprise while LSU could disappoint I suppose.

FSUcks - sorry, not a surprise or an SEC team, had a chance but Bowdened out of real competition.
Seriously, Miss State could have a big year and surprise everyone.
UT will be the bust team of the year but this isn't a surprise with all they lost and their coaching situation.
Anyone, other than Bama winning the West would be a suprise team and don't be surprised in a rematch again in Atlanta between Florida and Bama with a different outcome. That would fall under shocking!

In a division as bad as the East, TN going 2-6 is a bust. You can't tell me the majority of predictions out there right now will have them 4th or worse.

I agree in that I think both USC and Mizzou will be quite a bit better then people think this season.
For vastly different reasons. I like Missouri's offense to keep them in quite a few games this year and I think USC's defense does the same for them. With Kentucky improving and Vanderbilt not being an easy out anymore the East could be very interesting this year.

The majority of Predictions I've seen has UGA/UF at #1/2. South Carolina/UK at #3/4. Vandy/UT at #5/6 and Mizzou at 7
No one thinks we will be good this year...I think we can surprise some people.

The Offense will be totally unlike what everybody has come to know and expect. Will not be the normal "Schembechler" (Miles) Offense out there.
Etling will be the most improved QB in the SEC. (Under Canada)
Stringbean Myles Brennan has already gained 15 pounds since arriving on campus in June, (With 10 more expected by Camp, bringing him up from 185 to a solid 205-210) will get some snaps as a TF. He'll start for 3 years and be a future Super Star.
