...prior to the bottom of the 8th inning. I thought Manieri was going to be fired last night due to the baserunning and pinch hitting issues. Almost wasted Lange's effort to boot.

Maybe LSU fans shouldn't talk so much smack pregame. Hmmmm?

It was funny as hell. And then they totally wash it from memory and start chest thumping and trash talking. Beautiful bunch they are.

You're not wrong. I try not to bother reading tRant when LSU is losing in any sport. Anyone who knows baseball knew that they weren't going to go down quietly the last 2 in innings especially after getting into State's bullpen.

That's what happens when a bunch of sidewalk football fans to begin with try to be baseball fans.

Wow this board is eaten up with LSU and what LSU fans do about the team they root for.

Y'all need some help. I don't give one frick about y'alls teams, why the stalker mentality when it comes to the great LSU?

It really is too bad they deleted most if not all of the threads. I posted in two just so I could re-visit this morning and they are gone.

There are some idiot LSU fans on this website.

frick you; every damn school on there talks pre game smack. as far as in game melts go, you will not find a fan base that gets "into", I mean INTENSE, their baseball. MSU has fans like that too as does Arky and Ole Miss. gators fans are so emotionally unattached they might as well be dead.

methinks you're comments are all based on one of the deadly sins.........."envy".

How's the weather in Europe?

Hope there's no sign of a drizzle because you can't reschedule your super regional game 2 to August.

Dont know what was CPM's fault last night... Lange, as good as he is, frustrates the hell out of me when he starts nibbling around the plate and running his pitch counts up needlessly. First inning run due to two walks, an excuse me single, and a HBP... that aint CPM.

BTW, Props to Alex Lange who pitched his last game in the Box last night. Great effort and great result!

That's what makes the Rant so fun to read when other teams are playing. The emotional investment in sports is great drama.

It's also why I stay away from message boards when my teams are playing.

Indoor get it. Pap on third was a mental Melt down by Pap. No one else involved.
Beau Jordan is slow as frick in that was on the 3rd base coach IF anyone is to blame. IMO it was a perfect throw and catch...anything else and he is safe.

It was weird for sure. I've never seen a fanbase get as violent as when LSU was losing last night. I don't understand why some people get that emotional over sports

And this is the main reason I stay off the rant when we are playing..
