Even more confusing since Florida has been a national seed 8 of the last 9 years

Was that the first game we beat you in Omaha or the second?
Also, that wasn't for the title brah so even then Arky might still be on this list.
Even more salt on FSUs wounds though... Oregon St won it all twice in 4 tries.

O'Sullivan would be unfairly roasted at LSU by now. The idiot faction (a large number, BTW, that's gotten a lot quieter in the last month) thinks Mainieri is a bum for only winning one CWS.
And then they laugh at Bama people who want Saban fired for losing a CFP title game. Pot, meet Kettle.

I remember when the Maine Bears were a mainstay in the CWS

Back when ESPN was worth watching (I'm talking mid 80s here), I enjoyed watching Maine in the CWS every year

CWS appearances without a title: FSU: 21
Wow, that's a difficult tasks alone!

fsu at 21 is honestly impressive, how can you not win it a single time
Getting the regionals and Supers at home whey they have home cooking then getting to Omaha and getting exposed.
That how.

FSU is red hot right now. They were very average during the session, now beating everyone.

They have turned it around the last few weeks, but this team has serious flaws. The staff deserves credit

FSU: 21
20.00% = 2 of 10 ended in Championship series for Florida
20.00% = 2 of 10 ended in Championship series for North Carolina
14.29% = 3 of 21 ended in Championship series for Free Shoes U
12.50% = 1 of 8 ended in Championship series for Arkansas
11.11% = 1 of 9 ended in Championship series for State
00.00% = 0 of 12 ended in Championship series for Taters
All those trips for the Taters and no final games, seems pretty good luck if you have the Taters in your year.

What's crazier to me than FSU making it 21 times and not winning it is them only making the finals 3 times.

I've cursed them. I'm also a Braves fan

Trade ya two CWS titles for a football title

MSU will likely get one under Cannizaro, but could take a few years.
Florida will, but won't be this year.
FSU has been to Omaha like twice as many times as Florida. Eventually, yes, but they have a major history of choke. That will be a factor to their detriment.
