This is terrible news.
CFB Data Warehouse had the best overall information and resources and stats.
The layout and UI were pretty ugly and straight out of like 1997 but you couldn't beat the info.
Hopefully someone buys it and gets it up and running again.

Cfbdatawarehouse got hacked. Viruses were bad. The owner gave up.

Well, speaking as someone who knows more than a little about historical college football information, my reviews:
winsipedia - couple of guys scraped data from the internet without crediting their sources and are fairly ignorant about historical information. Whoever uses that, gets what they deserve.
sports-reference - also ripped others off for information without credit. Information is incomplete.
Stassen - Good stuff, but also doesn't have all-time records
cfbstats - good stuff, but only has about 8 years
cfbdatawarehouse was original research, for which it will be missed. The national championship section was responsible for causing massive amounts of confusion on the subject and wikipedia was far too reliant on it for information that could have been found at reliable sources, but original research is rare and priceless. I hope someone picks it up and cleans it up.

Stassen is still up. Can't say for how long given it's dependence on CFDW.

Stassen pre-dated cfbdatawarehouse. Chris did cite cfbdatawarehouse once and say he might give it up in favor of that, but he got his query information from Howell, which is why it's not all-time.

I haven't been able to access it in a few months now. I hope it returns.

So I guess the guy died? A constantly updated Ryan Adams website from 2007 quit being updated right after a concert I went to. I just assume that guy died that same night.

1 more thing on this site - atr.cfrc.com
when you click a team, it gives you their schedule with results for EVERY year they played
in the year by year schedule, if you click any team on your schedule, it gives you the all time record vs that team AND a year by year breakdown (or list) of each game that was played against that opponent
it's a really sweet site
the most comprehensive I have seen anywhere
better than CFB Date Warehouse ever was...

I dunno about that. It's a bit of a chore to read w/all the info in columns it throws at you.
Is there a way to contact the CFBDW dude to see what he would sell his site for?

I use Stassen most of the time anyway.

Thanks. Easily the best site of them all. I do use others as well.

Winsipedia is more user-friendly.
I notice Winsipedia awards teams national championships that they don't even claim
