It will be better tomorrow. I don't see Kentucky hosting a Super Regional or playing in a CFB playoff but hey...you got John Calipari for 8 million a year.

I expect most of them are trying to find the addresses of tonight's officials.

Let me know if we get to a partially nude male running down the street with a propane tank.

That was one of my all-time favorite tRant threads.

I'm currently 10 miles outside of Lexington, unable to get inside the town proper. We do not have any reports of fatalities yet, but I believe that the death toll may be in the hundreds of millions. Lexington has only a population of about 308,428 so this would be quite devastating.
Man, now I have to watch that episode.

For Kentucky, Basketball is all they have. Not relevant in football or baseball. My word, the next 7 months will be boring.
kentucky literally is the home of a 10 billion dollar a year horse racing industry. if kentucky breeding farms fell off the face of the earth an entire sport would not exist anymore. Dubai, Australia, US, South America, South Africa, Japan, China everywhere except the UK basically gets their horses from kentucky.

As to the uninformed

Kentucky is a top school with the Directors Cup considering the revenue of most of the schools above it.

Football - Natty when Bear Bryant was there
M basketball - multiple Natty's with 5 different coaches
W basketball - multiple Elite Eights in past decade
Volleyball - multiple NCAA runs including several host in past decade
Rifle - Natty and multiple Runner Ups
Gymnastics - Top 25 type program
Baseball - several NCAA post season runs in past decade
Softball - WCWS in past few years
Track & Field - top 5 type finish in past few years
Cheerleading - 20 + Nattys (by far the most successful program at UK)

FWIW, basketball at Kentucky was originally started as a women's sport and the mens team was added a few years later

FWIW II, Kentucky has the oldest football program in the current SEC by about a decade and had the first head of the SEC

That's just false. Alabama and Kentucky played their first season in 1892.

Kentucky has tradition and lives for basketball. I'm not going to join in on the bashing. Most of us wish we had their basketball history. Every program has fans like that.

Act like you've been there. SC fans are out of their minds seeing their first Final-4 in history. So now you act like bigshots making a fool of yourselves mocking Kentucky basketball? I congrat you moving on but come on people.

Because you made a final-4 now you chime in with "Who in the conference last made the final-4, chime in."

This is what happens to a program that never smelled anything like it. Get a grip and stop embarrassing yourselves.

Kentucky played first football game in 1881. While this may be hard for you to comprehend, 1881 is much earlier than 1892.

Not really, Tulane was an early football powerhouse. The old Tulane Stadium was testament to their early success and could have been even bigger if Tulane did not turn down the Rose Bowl invitation that was reissued to Alabama and changed football history in the south forever. Also, if Bernie stays at Tulane and does not take the Minnesota job, imagine the difference Tulane would have enjoyed.

As for Georgia Tech, they have 4 Natty's which greater than most of the current SEC.
