Big six in both big two sports.
Florida and LSU have a good case too.

Serious question:

What is the ranking based on Final Four appearances?

Not really.

Kentucky is way out ahead in #1

Arkansas is way out ahead in #2. The limit in years hurts the #'s for Arkansas. Arkansas still has not lost 1,000 games and probably will not for another 5-10 years. Depending on the health of the program.

While total wins is close with Alabama and Missouri, the total losses are not.

Losses
Arkansas: 924
Alabama: 1,012
Missouri: 1,133

This is what makes the gap wider than what the percentage shows. A gap that likely will never close that much.

Two programs in the league have yet to reach 1,000 losses
1. Kentucky: 687 losses
2. Arkansas: 924 losses

You can say all that and that's fine, but the fact is UK's win percentage is 12.3% better than Arkansas' win percentage. Arkansas' win percentage is 12.4% better than 13th place Georgia. So the gap in win percentage between 1 and 2 is basically the same as 2 and 13. Kentucky is way out in front in every metric.

Interesting stats. I am really surprised to see Bama in the top three by both of those measures. KY is obviously #1 and I would have guessed Arkansas at 2, but Bama was not expected. I remember they were decent with Wimp Sanderson, but didn't know they had that many wins.

And ugh, my Auburn Tigers are wretched. Thank goodness for Ole Miss!
