Just how bad is the denial?

On the Ole Miss board there is a thread about the Ncaa. They are upset that the Ncaa is hitting them for "Petty" stuff. You read right, they calling it "petty" violations lol.
I'm not even going to get into the 15 level 1 violations, most I've ever seen. But honestly, how far up your arse does one need to place their head to see this as small petty stuff?
I give up on their fan base. They have no ability to think for themselves. Brainwashed at a new level. There is no cure for what they have.

It's the belief that if any school was investigated for 3 1/2 years they would find things like loaner cars. It's the belief that they had to stretch the investigation another year and a half and give rival players immunity to prove pay for play. It's the belief that 15k to the top defensive target in three years is on the low end of what gets thrown around.
If you believe that kids once on campus aren't having meals paid for or favors done then this doesn't sound petty
If you believe that 4-5*s aren't getting 15k or more from multiple programs then this doesn't sounds petty.
If you think OM is the only school doing these things then this doesn't sound petty.
OM fans do believe that goes on and that's why they lose so many top targets to the great city of Starkville, thus why they call what the NCAA found petty.
Getting caught robbing a bank for $200 doesn't mean you don't get put in jail though.

Come on man. I know that we have some fans that are definitely in denial, but we're not all idiots. I'm very upset over what is happening due to the poor job of handling the situation by Freeze and the entire AD. They, in a few ways, lied to us about the process the whole time and I'm pretty mad about it.
What we did was major and we deserve a pretty good arse whippin from the NCAA. Isn't that hard to see.

I don't understand their whole narrative we going to snitch on everybody. It was so stupid how they jumped top Top 5 recruiting that quickly and their fan suspected nothing. Damn right other programs push the line but Ole Miss obliterated it....and tried to be smug about it. Sec is a billion dollar corporation and wouldn't sit by while a member tries to sink the money ship.

I tend to disagree because I am one Ole Miss fan who thinks logically and who doesn't believe everything our "sources" tell us on a different Ole Miss board/website. I know we did wrong, we were caught, and should and will be punished for it. Some of the allegations can be taken as petty, but at the end of the day it's a broken rule. Doesn't matter if it seems petty to Ole Miss fans because the NCAA hasn't looked at it as petty.

What gets me is the first OM reply on this thread. Saying they keep losing all their top targets to MSU.
How comical is that? They've been mocking our recruiting classes since Dan Mullen came to MSU but we are stealing all their "top targets."

What OM fan disagrees with that? It's outrage that we will get hit harder than Baylor for rape and Louisville for prostitution because we paid a player who didn't even end up at our school. We broke rules. No one argues that. We should be punished. No one argues that. Are we getting treated worse than people who actually committed real crimes, this is what we argue. The world isn't fair and it's annoying to bitch about what you can't control so I agree, shut up with the "poor little ole me" routine.

I mean are you saying Gay, Simmons, Jones, Redmond, Leo, etc weren't top targets? Kids who were top 10 at their positions, and top players in the state? You can have 1-2 great players and your class still be shite you know?

And here is why you need serious professional help. Over the years we got some in-state recruits while you were not only getting national top recruits by cherry picking, but you somehow steal recruits growing up in or next to Starkville. Kids who grew up MSU fans and long term commits.
Not only do you cheat your arse off but now you post on here that you are entitled to EVERY good recruit in the state and that because MSU gets some then we are cheating. Blow it out your arse you elitist snob. You think your shite don't stink and you are entitled to everything?
