Worked out in football, I kid
Being instate does not help them in the tournament as much, as it is normally LSU as State fans filling the majority of the sceats.

Are you 12 or under, not a bama fan but they historically are one of the best programs in the sec.
They have been irrelevant for 20 years. Their overall record might be pretty good but to say they are one of the best is comical.

ive been following SEC baseball since the mid 1980s, and ive never once considered Crimson Tide baseball to be one of the best programs in the SEC during this time...conversely, it was a 3 year run during the 80s that is the only reason state college/starksville is considered a top level SEC program.
1983 Bama lost the CWSCG by one run (3-4) to Texas. Winning pitcher was a guy by the name of Roger Clemens.
Bama eliminated Barry Bonds and Arizona State to get to the final. Six players (FOUR pitchers) from 1983 Texas played MLB.
June 9 Game 11 Texas 6 - 4 (10 innings) Alabama
June 10 Game 12 Alabama 6 - 0 Arizona State Arizona State eliminated
Game 13 Texas 4 - 2 Michigan Michigan eliminated
June 11 Final Texas 4 - 3 Alabama Texas wins CWS

What is comical is your lack of reading comprehension.
One of the best programs in SEC history is fact, claiming they they have never tried is silly, and while of course they are down right now they will be back, too much money and talent in the state.
Would you care to post up historical records for comparison or h2h vs the mustard buzzards? Bet you won't.

Nope, that would be an opinion.

Never said they haven't tried. Maybe your reading comprehension need work.

They have been down for 20 years.

Way to stay on topic.

We really haven't been shite for a while now. Wells had a team in '02 that won the SEC, won 52 games, and hosted a regional, but lost against Florida Atlantic in the regional finals. He ended up having a couple of 40 win seasons in '05 and '06, but again was a regional runner up in one and couldn't make it out of thensuper regional.
Gaspard's first season was exciting, but we got blasted by Clemson in the Super Regional. Ever since, he couldn't sustain any success.
No doubt Alabama can be a competitor in baseball, but Goff needs more time. This roster right now is pretty bad.

Alabama fired a coach that swept Arkansas at Baum last year.

I can't stand Bama, but let's be real here.
Those cats in the 90's were legit as frick. I was at the game in '97 when they beat us like 24-2..
Of course we put our dick on them in Omaha later but still
No reason to talk down their program imo

8 of those SEC titles happened before or immediately after WW2. So 6 in the last 70 or so years.
Impressive

Bama is ranked first in the SEC in all time wins. 2nd in conference titles. Head to head record against almost every SEC opponent.
Not sure what you're laughing at.
