Do Missouri fans actually believe Martin would leave for Mizzou?

What a joke.

You guys hired Kim Anderson for a reason. Nobody else wanted to go there. Missouri basketball is dead and showing no signs of life.

I wouldn't leave South Carolina State at this point for Mizzou, but who knows?
I do know that he unexpectedly liked the area more than he ever thought he would when he was coach at K-St. He has people in the area he considers dear friends. I don't know his feeling on S.Carolina though. Could be he loves it.
As far as no one else wanting to coach at Mizzou. That statement is as ignorant as us hiring Kim Anderson. We had much better coaches that WANTED to come here. Why we didn't hire a couple is beyond me. Poor choices.

We were dead and buried when Frank came in. He just now got us to respectable.

Why would he leave to start that process all over again?

Damn, I rustled you good. And you don't know shite. Kim was hired because of the incoming sanctions that were brought on from Frank Haith before he bolted to Tulsa.

South Carolina is a joke.

Yes. In a literal second if offered.

I don't see it as probable.
And frankly, I don't want him.

But he's a better coach than I gave him credit for when he went to SC.

It is most likely rumor-mongering started by his agent to renegotiate.

I wouldn't have an issue at all with Martin being the coach but I don't think he will be in Sterk's final 3.

As to being dead, the next coach can drive 2 hrs east or west and be in front of very good talent. MU will never have a roster like Kentucky but in 2 recruiting cycles the next coach can make a lot happen. A couple elite underclassmen and 8 experienced upperclassmen can win a lot of games.

Is this like the time Mizzou fans were telling us Gregg Marshall was going to be their basketball coach. It was a lock.
