Peyton graduated. They'll never win anything now. That was their last chance man. THEIR LAST CHANCE.

There is no way UT fans would let us not know his name.

If you want to be optimistic about the OL in 2017... go ahead. Starting freshmen loses games. I wasn't optimistic about Catalina. I wasn't optimistic about Kublanow. A dominant OL is a lot tougher than many on an Internet message board may want you to think.

The east was every bit as good as the west was this year (Save Alabama....I'm surprised you want to ride Alabama's coattails so much)....and Auburn didn't come close to dominating it. So, I guess Auburn is like being the smartest of the Duck Dynasty bunch?

We MIGHT have one freshman starting. But, more to the point...anybody that does not think this will be the most talented roster we have had at UGA in 10 years isn't paying attention.

Nope. Quinten Dormady was Dobbs' backup for the past two seasons. JG was a true freshman this year and red-shirted. He was also the #1 DT QB in the country per 247. For comparison's sake, Eason was the #2 Pro-style QB in that class.

True, but you guy were talking about him transferring because Jarrett is gonna take the starting spot.

Say what? If you mean Dormady then yes. He probably will transfer. He's a good enough Pro-style QB but JG will more than likely beat him out for the spot. If that happens do you really expect him to ride the pine when he has a decent shot of playing somewhere else. Dormady was highly rated in his own right but our offense thrives with a DT QB even though a Pure Pro-Style QB can run it.
I don't expect Jones to name a starter until game day next season in order to avoid a transfer if possible but I still think he will go.
After being forced to burn Dobbs's red-shirt there was no way in hell we were burning JG's just to be a backup short of catastrophe and it took no fewer than three other QBs to get injured for us to burn Dobbs' RS and two more his sophomore year when we tried to RS him again.
If JG starts he'll be the first UT QB in several years to actually a get an RS season in which is a huge advantage for a young QB's development.

DawgNation using 24/7 recruiting rankings and Kirby looks to be putting together one of the best classes assembled alongside Urban's 2013 class and Ron Zook's 2003 class.

This is the SEC. It is and always has been about running the football and stopping the run. Talent at QB isn't the secret key to success (unless the QB can run).
The talent/experience on the OL in 2017 is the problem and it is a big deal.

Agreed. With a stingy defense, deep RB corps and stout line, you just need a QB who can make the right reads and challenge the defense down the field.

"The 2014 campaign saw four Razorback underclassmen earn All-SEC honors. Guard Sebastian Tretola was named to the ESPN.com All-SEC team, tackle Dan Skipper and guard Denver Kirkland each earned All-SEC honorable mention recognition from the Associated Press and freshman center Frank Ragnow was named to the coaches’ SEC All-Freshman team. Ragnow was also selected as one of the best true freshman in the nation when he was named to the Sporting News All-True Freshman team."
Pittman I probably wouldn't call the best out there but he knows how to get the results early. Anywho, it's no point going back and forth until we get some answers in fall camp.

Ok. Out of 124 teams, some have good years and can point to success (I understand you're pointing out Pittman).
But UGA has been bad for 2 seasons. And we were average for several others (with great tailbacks).
Every recruit is suppose to work out. Every roster move is suppose to be successful.
Show me. We have a good thing going. But we shouldn't deserve the benefit of the doubt. We've been bad for too long. We've been recruiting too light for too long.
