Congratulations, Georgia! You win the off-season, and it's only January.

Best first class

Point being, those classes produced BCSNCG wins with those recruiting classes. If the trend continues, UGA could win the CFPNC within the next 2-3 years.

Based on those stats the majority of these programs (extending thru the Top 10) won a NC within 2/3 seasons following those recruiting of those best 1st classes coupled with the talent left behind from the previous staffs.

Eta: regardless of new HC spoofs he displayed this year, I believe Kirby has it in him to win/compete in the CFPs within 2/3 years.

I think no one knows better how difficult it is for all the pieces to fall into the right places to win a national championship than GA fans. A matter of a few plays can make the difference. Some team's fans have a hard time recognizing you need a bit of luck as well as coaching and talent.

I still think if GA had won the SEC title game against Al, they would have gone on to win it all.

And often one special player to come through and carry the team.

The median income for a household in the city is $15,300, and the median income for a family is $20,590. Males have a median income of $21,544 versus $16,895 for females. The per capita income for the city is $9,369. 40.2% of the population and 33.7% of families are below the poverty line.

Once again,it must suck to be you.

Georgia fans didn't start this thread.
Now there were a load of threads made by Tennessee fans last off season about how they would win the East, SEC and go to the playoffs. And you won that in 2015 AND 2016.
I do notice a lower profile this off season....however, it is still early.

The talent/experience on the OL in 2017 is the problem and it is a big deal.

No doubt and no argument. But the OL should be improved....by a lot. We have several returners with a LOT of experience, and one of the top JUCO OT, and one fo the top OTs in the nation coming in from recruiting. Clemson went to the National Championship game last year with 5 new starters on their OL. Our OL won't be anything to get hyped up and excited about, but it certainly should be improved....by a good bit.

Not so fast. It's possible. but the classes you named were the #1 classes in the country. Our class, as good as it is, is only #3 in the country. And, Alabama has recruited the #1 class for 7 straight years and will most likely do it again this year.

There is no doubt that Florida has been the dominant team since the 1990's. Hopefully we will catch up.

I pretty much give a defending champions the benefit of the doubt. they are the champions until someone else takes it from them. Florida gets my vote until we, or someone else can take the title away from them.

Ok,what SEC school besides Bama has has a dominant OL?
LSU was supposed to have one but they were inconsistent at best.

I just said there's enough talent to be successful and by that I mean challenge and win the SECE.

Its a different world in CFB these days and coaches need to have these guys ready to play as Freshmen

So you're the one the raised the median income in Wadley?

I know a few of retired folks and NONE live in Wadley
Ga.Sounds more like a prison sentence than retirement.

But like any other 3rd world place,I imagine the cost of living is pretty low.
