Been seeing this debate a lot and was just wondering if y'all do/don't and why?

Yes. If I don't warm up my car most winter mornings, it'd make it a little difficult to see through the windshield.
And honestly, I don't want to sit in a cold arse car.

I'm pretty sure it's better for your car to warm up the engine before driving when it's really cold
I could be wrong though.
After reading, it seems it's a common thought but not true.

If it's cold enough, I remote start mine and let it all warm up. Get the heated seats and steering wheel going good.

I park my truck in the garage of my house, it rarely gets below 45-50 degrees in there so, no I don't...

I use my garage, so no.

Only to defrost the windshield.

When it's -5 every morning like it is here you kinda have to.

Why would I? It's been over 70 the last couple days.
When I was working up north and it was 0-10 degrees when I left in the morning and had a layer of ice on my windshield then yeah. If it's like it was here in the south last weekend when there was an ice storm but it never got below upper 20's then no because I'm not a Nancy boy.

Police can write you a citation for leaving a running car unattended . Their reasoning is it's a potential for theft and they would rather you be responsible and avoid the issue.
Their words not mine.

Same way I do in the summer, spring, and fall
Rub her trunk
Whisper sweet nothings to her
Pay some attention to her headlights
Make sure she has plenty of fluids and well lubricated
Purrs like kitten for me she does.

I start mine up and let it sit until the RPMs go back to normal. Usually takes 15-30 seconds depending on how cold it is.

I remote start that bitch and let it sit while i scarf down my breakfast. About 8 - 10 min.

I do because I can remotely crank it like a civilized person.

It's better for the engine to run and warm up before putting into gear.
People who start there car and in one motion move it into gear are hurting their car. Need to give the oil time to circulate.
In the winter, yes, I warm my car before driving (remote start is a great feature), and in the summer, I still start it, check heat/ac/radio, put on seat belt, before I put it in gear.

My garage has radiant floor heat. So does my shop.

Remote start when it's cold. Get that seat warm

I don't warm it up, but I do keep the engine rpms to a minimum until the thermostat registers. I'd rather the engine gradually warm up than quickly, metal can be fickle.
