Anyone who doesn't think Dabo will come home when "Mama Calls" is in denial.

He will be walking the sidelines in BDS in Crimson & White again in 5-10 years.
At Bama we like to let our coaches win a championship at lesser schools and then step up to the big leagues.
Coach Swinney did a very good job last night in his audition.
Thanks for helping him get his start Clemson, but he is just on loan.

So..Dabo is going to the NFL?

I think last night clinched him staying at Clemson forever. It's 100% his program and he's now their greatest coach ever.
Don't think he ever leaves that.

Ahh I was waiting for the Dabo Melt to start.

So will yall claim that title too?

So even when y'all lose, y'all win because you're just grooming your coach of the future?
Wow man
Wow man

I think he will eventually come back home. He seems to praise Bama every opportunity he gets. I think most coaches' dream is to bring a NC to their alma mater.

I think Bama has a 50/50 shot. Dabo could be a Clemson lifer you never know.

Dabo has got it made at CU, not sure why he'd want to jump into a pressure cooker like Bama. I'm not sure massive amounts of money will drive him back home. The guess we'll see what happens.

Much easier path to the playoffs at Clemson I don't see it.

We can cross that bridge if we get there

Dabo is more suited for Clemson than Bama. I think his "player's coach" style works at a place like Clemson where you can "peak" at the right time and ride a certain players talent. He also has to be able to survive the disaster/embarrassing type loss, which will always follow him, and not a lot of SEC programs are like that. He doesn't seem like he can build a program to be successful with the grind of the SEC. The "next man up" and "no player is bigger than the program" attitude is what works in the SEC. Dabo seems like he has the ceiling of a Sumlin or a Freeze.

Like I posted in another thread:
Why would the best coach in college football willingly choose to go coach at a school he just beat the brakes off of in the NC just because it's his alma mater? Talk about downward trajectory career wise considering the dynasty he's fixing to build at Clemson.
You may get more Tide graduates and fans to heed the call if Sister Cousin does it.

He's got it made now. Easy conference, best path to playoffs, top rival sucks.
If he does leave, I think he will let someone else replace Saban. Then go. He's young.

Why would he take a downgrade job?

I am already laughing thinking of the melt when Dabo turns the merry band of cousin-frickers down after Saban retires/dies of a rage heart attack on sidelines.
