I was watching this old video of him mic'd up at the 2008 USC spring game, and thought that this was a pretty funny comment
he says "It's pretty loud now. It's pretty frickin' loud out now. This is like playing at fricking Auburn right now."

He was on carrols staff at usc

He was the QB coach for USC in 2003 when they went down to Auburn and beat them 23-0.

I knew someone would say that, but its not really that weird.
I saw on Wikipedia that he was a really good QB at BYU, so i youtubed some highlights of him, and the video in the OP was in the suggested videos section, and it piqued my interest since he is about to coach his first game as oc with us in the NC game.

I was at that game. That is one of the worst arse whoopins I've witnessed in person. It wasn't nearly as close as the score indicated. That was the beginning of the USC dynasty of the mid 2000's.

Auburn left tackle was unhealthy that year and that was esminger disaster at oc. Auburn boosters tried to get tub fired after that season for Bobby Petrino but folks rallied around tub. Auburn goes undefeated next year and gets robbed of a chance at nc.
