Reminds me of the 2001 Bama/USM game that was moved to the Thursday night after Thanksgiving due to 9/11. It was a rain storm and there probably weren't 20,000 people at the game. Afterwards, I hung out at the Tide and Tiger for a while before I went home. When I left, the neighborhood was deserted. I could not get back to my car soon enough.

Yes. I had no problems whatsoever, and, contrary to what you're trying to say, I felt perfectly safe. It's funny how everybody wants people to be so scared of walking around or parking near legion field.

I have done it 3 times in my life. The first time was one of the first Birmingham bowls (then the Papa John's bowl), and the other was the bama/SoCal game in Dallas. I never plan to leave a bama game early again, and wouldn't have left that one early had the not been extraordinary circumstances.

I just got off work and turned on Arkansas games then got on tha RANT . And it sounds like I'm hearing South Carolina came back and won ? ................ should have recorded the game ......

We came back from 18 down and lost in overtime. Disappointing end, but it was an entertaining game.
