ETA: Damn, moving out of ATL was really good for me. Forgot how much I hated hearing grown men bark like dogs and that moron Buck Belue on the radio every afternoon.

I don't know there are some trash NFL fan bases.
But it's Alabama easily in NCAA. I don't know how it can be disputed. They probably belong in a top fan base list as well if the metrics are enthusiasm and devotion.
But yeah, definitely #1 on the worst list. They shoot/kill people (fellow fans and family members), name their kids after the team at a much higher rate than any other sports team, worship other fans who commit criminal acts, etc.

You can't say Alabama is that obnoxious. For instance, when they are bad 50% or more of the fanbase will disappear - so it ends up leveling out. Interestingly enough that's when you start to see more Auburn decals get thrown on the back of trucks, car flags, etc. It's nice not to have seen those obnoxious AU or Gatorhead decals for a while.

Ohio State fans are the dregs of humanity. A truly classless bunch of goons- anyone who has ever been to a game in Columbus can attest to the kind of people that make up Buckeye Nation. The worst.
Not sure who to put after them in terms of fan bases, so instead I will offer some of the Aggie posters on this board as Worst Fans in College Football:

Texas-very very arrogant. Think they are the best in every way. Concern themselves with money way too much. Even tho it would be an imporivement in every way they are not willing to join sEC because they don't want to be associated with bad schools. Which makes no sense considering the current state of the BIG 12
Auburn-consumed with all things Bama. Think they are better in every way.
