Long story short I've been skimming for jobs recently and most are only offering like 2 weeks. I'm not sure what most people are used to but I wont settle for anything less than a month.

Just over 5 hours per pay period (2 weeks).

Vacation is usually pretty easy to negotiate during the offer phase. I asked for 3 weeks to start and got it

LOL, good luck with that. Don't forget the unicorn to come bust through the window while you negotiate.

We offer 19 days starting out and then 9 paid holidays. Most folks I interview seem happy with that number.
Also, to the point above, we don't negotiate that number.

I'm assuming you accumulate with time worked? Sounds like a pretty solid deal.

Yeah it's accrued at 6.33 hours per pay period. I haven't met a manger yet though that wouldn't let his new employees go in the negative if need be when first starting out. After that starting point, we then jump to 24 and then 29 days of PTO at the next two milestones.

2.5 days/month max out at 60 and every federal holiday is 3 or 4 days off.

I get that now and all of Europe. You are behind times my friend. Keep letting them grind you into dust.

Jesus you sound like a millennial. Be grateful you have the opportunity to be interviewed.

Ours depends on length of service for hourly employees, plus ETO. Management, me, get a month and other PTO and ETO.

I get a month of paid vacation every year plus two weeks of paid sick leave. If I don't use it, it accumulates. Pretty good deal figuring I never get sick and don't go on too many vacations. I've racked up a ton of unused vacation/sick time.

200 hours of vacation a year and 10 paid holidays

Generally two weeks is the norm. When I was working at Viacom in NYC you started off with 28 paid days off. Plus they would force you out the door so you would take all your days.
Was a great place to work, too.

Three weeks vacation, 6 floating holidays and 7 sick days.
I also essentially get the month of December off.

After 15 years we get 26 days. 2 weeks until then.
