TAMU's numbers are skewed by an 89 yard run by Williams. Otherwise, they averaged under 4 ypc against Auburn.
LSU and oddly enough, UGA had the most consistent success against them on the ground. Fournette and Guice had 111 yards on 18 carries (6.2 ypc) AFTER removing a 52 yard run by Guice. Chubb and Michel had 156 on 33 carries (4.73 ypc) without the benefit of a long run.

I actually agree GB. This has the potential to be a lot closer than I want.

So you think Kiffin is planning to toss dive right, toss dive left all night?

Too close for comfort
Good guys win 20-10 with a late TD

Alabama 30 Auburn 16
Hurts has a nice day throwing and running. Harris gets close to 100 yards rushing. Overall solid outing for Bama.
Auburn scores one TD and then kicks 3 FGs with their outstanding kicker.

The question was about teams that have had running success against Auburn, not what I thought Kiffin's game plan would be.
Since you asked, I expect to see him attack the linebackers and secondary early on. Auburn's defensive line will be the best Alabama has faced thus far but their back 7 are more suspect and Hosley hurt his ankle against Alabama A&M. If Bama's O-line can protect reasonably well, there's a lot of money to be made there.

I usually avoid these threads out of principle, but with last week's performance, the D having a private meeting, Pruitt's track record against the barn, the injuries to the barn.....
Screw it, Bama 30 barn 13. Late TD against the subs. Business like win.

I just realized hat if we win on Saturday it will be he first time we've won 3 in a row against the barn since fricking 1990-1992 .

I look for a 35-17 type of game.
Often, Auburn will come out in these talent mismatch games with all kinds of "nothing to lose" gimmick plays so I will give them a touchdown based off of one of those crazy assed plays working and catching Bama off guard...literally with the defense thinking "they can't possibly be this dumb to try what they look like they are in the process of trying" type of play. I also will give Auburn a legitimate TD over the course of the game and it is hard to not think Carlson will not get a chance to get at least a long FG.
For Bama, I don't think we will see Hurts run as much because they know they can't do that against Auburn's stout D-line and not risk an injury. I see a few early throws downfield by Bama to open things up...overall, it stays close for a bit but talent wins out with Bama. RTR!
