I would barring an 11-2 finish and then only because of the optics of doing so.

We know you would fire him. No one cares what you think. And thank god you aren't in charge of anything important.

But yes, I would have fired him last season.

I would have fired him before, I would fire him now, and definitely after. This is the end. Time to move on.

8-5 and I'd consider it. Otherwise, no.

Taking it out on me won't help anything

Our fans that think like you are the reason we will never be more than an afterthought in this conference.

Les Miles.

He can recruit and will compete with recruits with Herman at Texas. Force him to bring in a real OC that can run an up tempo offense.

If he finishes 8-4, probably. Next season is going to be tough regardless of who's coaching. Not sure if it's better for Sumlin to take the rap for that or a new guy.

What were your expectations before this season? Would you have fired Sumlin for 9-3? I doubt it. You're just upset because you got your hopes up. You'll get over it.

It's not the record, its how you get there.

Good coaches can recruit at a program like ours regardless of record, Is rather not waste another recruiting cycle on recruiting.

You have a basic posting model:

1. Say bad shite is happening behind he curtains

2. Predict bad shite will happen in games.

3. Remain quiet when bad shite doesnt happen in games.

4. Come to this board and pat yourself on the back the second something bad happens.

8-4 is unacceptable in year 5 given this was the year everyone said we were building toward

That being said, it's all about context

I see, so you wanted 3 good, uplifting losses. Good losses don't exist, outside of possibly Alabama. Losses suck. If you're not expecting them to suck, you're going to have a bad time.

3 losses to top ten teams when you are clearly out-talented = acceptable

3 losses when 1 or more are to shite teams = unacceptable

I expected this team to lose 4 regular season games, and they're going to. I went on record before the season saying 10 wins or he should be gone. Not including the bowl.

I've been posting here consistently for four years and five seasons through the ups and downs, so that part just isn't true.

I was every bit the optimist Sarge is in 2012/2013. Kevin Sumlin has turned me into this the last year years. I can be optimistic when it's justified, what I can't do is talk myself into tolerating fatal coaching flaws that show up every year.

And the "Roger gets off on us losing" bit is old and tired and only serves to avoid actual discussion.
