Sounds like the players are ready. This is a quote from Kirby about Mon/Tues practice.

quote:

`'We've had two practices since our last visit. Monday went well.  We did a little more than a normal Monday since we weren't coming off a game. And then today we did a normal Tuesday, got after it pretty good, good weather, good intensity, I thought.  The kids are eager to practice and even a little bit chippy, so it was good.  They were thudding and popping and got most of our game plan in.  We'll brush and polish it up tonight and then finish it up during the rest of the week. The kids really are excited and I am, too.  It's a great rivalry game, a great opportunity for us, and the kids are ready to play.''

Can we pull it off?

Yes I have Georgia winning 27-21. Their defense is not nearly as elite as most seem to believe imo.

UGA O-line will need to play well.

Very possible. UGA cant turn the ball over. They must get the ball to the perimeter and put the ball in the play makers hands, and get the ball out of Eason's hands quickly as possible. Have not been impressed with him at all IMO

It will be a low scoring game. I think UGA has the better offense, UF the better defense. Should be interesting.

P.S. Traffic already sucks arse here. Took me an hour and a half to get home from work yesterday.

OMG! "Kids eager" = mass hysteria, death and destruction. The "thudding and popping" only makes it 1,000,000,000 times worse.

Then again, the "brush and polish" part don't work too well when it's a turd to begin with.

UF is the favorite but a lot stranger things have happened. This would not even be that big a shocker when you look at overall talent level on both sides.

How UGA runs the ball is the key IMO. On paper it doesn't seem a good matchup but in these games strange things happen. Florida is no Offensive juggernaut, they only need to be solid not spectacular.

Well since we are scared to play in Athens, and will need to check the weather in Jax to see if we show up, and our HC's contract with Crest white strips wasn't renewed, it sounds like Florida has very little chance. At least according to you a couple of days ago.

I don't see how Georgia scores enough points to win the game.
