Why do some LSU fans have pictures of other teams next to their avatar?

I'm seen people with LSU usernames and who pretty clearly are LSU fans. Yet they have symbols of teams like Texas and Colorado next to their avatars. Why?

Just the nature of the site. I rock the Air Force logo from time to time because I'm a vet, the US flag when the Olympics are running, the Michigan logo because of my mom, and of course the A&M logo for my alma mater.
I'd do a Spurs one if Chicken had more than one NBA logo available.

Or because they got an undergraduate degree at one school, and a graduate degree at another. It happens sometimes.
