I played out there right before the big rains came through. It was in the worst condition I have ever seen it in, and the floods did a lot of damage. It's my favorite course in the BR area, but it isn't worth playing right now.

I got a '21 Sierra with the 3.0 D-max and I love it. Awesome low end torque, but it takes 2-3 business days to go 60-80. I run a ton of highway miles a year, so the fuel economy was a big seller for me. I have done a little offroading too, and the 3.0 does really well in the muddy hills.

Played 18 out there yesterday. I've been a regular at the bluffs for about 2 years, and this is the worst I have seen it. Tee boxes are essentially dirt and sand boxes. Fairways are ok, but recent rain has them really soggy. The majority of the greens are being overtaken with what appears to be goosegrass. Course needs a few weeks of warm dry weather and some TLC, and it'll be fine.

They are insanely expensive, but gosh damn they will blow a turkeys head clean off at 40 yards and kill them easily at 55+ in my experience. I only kill 2-3 toms a year so a box of five will last me two seasons. That's how I justify spending over $10 a shell :lol:

I bought 1000 rounds of 7.62 SPBT about 18 months ago on Ammoseek for .23/round. I bought 1000 rounds of hollowpoint at Baker Range last month for .50/round. Crazy how much prices have gone up.

Moving to Shreveport for work in March. Never really been there before, so I was wondering what the golf scene is like. Any recs for some decent, reasonably affordable courses nearby? I would consider getting a non-resident membership if I can find a nice course that offers it.
