Caffeine Pills vs Coffee / Energy Drinks

Does anyone use caffeine pills regularly? I enjoy the morning cup of coffee but am looking for something different after lunch.
You can buy the equivalent of 100 cups of coffee / Red bull for about $6, plus you don't have to break task at work or waste commuting time.
Am I getting old and trying to be too efficient?

Have you tried amphetamines?
They work great.

I prefer to drink tea after lunch for a caffeine boost.
The pills are too much.

liquid caffeine is much smoother and less of a drop off when it wears off

I get mixed opinions there. Read a reddit threat that claimed the exact opposite

I slowly tapered off the afternoon caffeine, and don't miss it. I was getting my fix with a Diet Dr Pepper, or coffee if it was cold outside. First cut it back to just 4 days a week, then 3, then 2, then 1, then altogether. Did that over about 2 months.
I rarely hit that afternoon wall, but I also eat lighter lunches. Usually just a sandwich from home, some pretzels and some fruit.

Eating light lunch is the key to not crashing.. You got that right.
I have a 1.5 hour commute I'm dealing with now and I hate stopping for caffeine. My get back on Advocare or something.. Just tickling the thought.

The time release ones are the best.

I've never tried a caffeine pill or energy drink and the only time I have coffee is when it's really cold. I probably haven't had more than a dozen cups the last 2 yrs combined.

I've all but done away with soft drinks. Still a weakness for tea at times, but if it's not a meal, it's water or vitamin water. And try to schedule my work so that on lunches I do the gym, then Taziki's for a grilled lamb Mediterranean salad or grilled lamb gyro and cucumber tomato salad.

I haven't taken anything like that in years and stick to coffee. It's more of a morning ritual than a needed energy boost. Back in school before the ephedra based diet pills were banned, I used to eat them like tic-tacs. That shite was legit and could keep you up for days. Silver lining to taking 30 years off my life, it kept the beer and pizza guy away too!

Cocaine is your friend. Need a pick up? Go to the bathroom and get a quick key bump in the stall

Are there people out there who aren't on addrrall?
Just kidding, sort of. Maybe it's just my world, middle aged entrepreneurs with kids, but just about everyone I know has at least one of the couple who has a scrip for adderall which they split.

I'm in the Military. Could get on Adderall, then would have to stop when deployed overseas.
Plus I'll take too much and be mean. I have enough trouble sleeping now, and that really throws it off. I'll get back on adderall in a few years when I start my civilian career and am able to mix it with edible pot.
