Team A All games vs FBS foes with a combined record at game time of 14-7. Two of three games against SEC foes.

Game 1: 18/28 228 yds 2 td 0 int 8.1 ypa
Game 2: 13/19 202 yds 2 td 0 int 10.6 ypa
Game 3: 11/20 286 yds 3 td 0 int 14.3 ypa

Three game totals
42/67 62.6%
716 total yards 238.67 ypg 10.68 ypa
7 td 0 int

Team B All games vs FBS foes with combined records at game time of 9-10. Two of three games against SEC foes.

Game 1: 11/18 276 yds 3 td 1 int 15.3 ypa
Game 2: 19/30 216 yds 0 td 0 int 7.2 ypa
Game 3: 19/28 204 yds 1 td 1 int 7.3 ypa

Three game totals
49/76 64.5%
696 total yards 232 ypg 9.16 ypa
4 td 2 int

Both teams A & B went 3-0 over this stretch.

Which would tRant judge to be the more effective passing attack based on these stat lines?

I'm gonna go on the ledge here and say one is LSU and the other is some no body to try to prove a point that LSU can't pass the ball..

Neither is LSU

Etling was 19/30 with 215 yds and a TD/INT against Ole Miss.

One of those was close

My guess is he is comparing Etling and Harris' stats from last year going in to the Bama game

He was 19/28 for 204. Team B is LSU, you can tell from the Southern Miss game.

I don't recall Harris ever throwing for 200+ yds in 3 straight games

ETA: I misread. My bad

Good call. This settles it then. Harris > Etling.

That's right. I'm thinking of the MSU game. 19/30 215 no TD or INT.

Team B is LSU
