They dodged the most difficult game on their schedule during the most difficult times (many starters banged up).

aside from the obvious reasons, we are also pretty banged up. this is one time i am glad our game got postponed.

This has probably already been said (I don't want to read the entire thread) but we likely would have lost to LSU; especially since we are so banged up right now. We now will have one less loss and an additional week to get healthy. With Tennessee's schedule they are likely to have two losses by the end of SEC play. The Gators may just back into the SEC championship; that is if we can win out. Wouldn't that be a gut punch to the Vols?

I'm okay with this.

Man I kinda hope we get in over UT on this technicality, if for no other reason then to see how nuts they would go.

I wont be butthurt if this game doesn't get rescheduled. UF Wins out, UT loses to Bama and TXA&M and UF will be in ATL.
quote:
At this point I'm at screw LSU, UT and the SEC. We will go to the SECCG now if we win out and UT loses two, so it basically counts as a victory towards to SECCG. We literally have no incentive to go play them there and we are not USCe where the SECCG is something we watch.

If the cards fall right the game will be played in Atlanta, Winner gets 2 in the W column

All you have to do is look at the reactions from the 2 fanbases to see who was really scared

And we got good PR out of it

Of course they are. They basically get a free road to the division win and they get an extra week to rest their depleted team, AND the national media is running with this bullshite lies.
They cheated and got away with it.

I probably won't see any UForfeit, A&M, or Gumptards within a mile of here

remember when UF was a program to be feared? Now they resort to hiding behind natural disasters to scheme their way into Atlanta.

This will be the most upvoted thread Phat Phil has ever made.

Smart move by Florida, now it's time for the SEC office to step in and enforce a level playing field, reschedule the game or force Florida to forfeit.
How about a scenario where UT loses in OT to A&M and Bama (preferably on last second hail marys) and UF backdoors its ticket with wins over UGA and Arkansas, gets blown out by FSU to end the season.

Seriously though ... I've not commented on this, one way or the other, until now - but that's a fairly pathetic mindset on behalf of UF fans in all honesty.
SCAR could have done that last year during the historic and tragic flooding ... we were given the option and having a bad year to boot. Instead, we chose to play the game (like men) and made no excuses for getting beat in red stick.
I'm a little bit surprised at the level of pussiness being exhibited by the Gator Nation .... never thought I'd see the day. I guess their mojo retired with the HBC.

If Florida is too scared to play LSU then why in the hell would they want to go to Atlanta? They wouldn't sell half of their tickets.

Wrong, most UF fans are pissed, wanted to play Saturday in Gainesville. In the long run, whether it will help or hurt is unclear.
