A lot of Lsu fans are overly confident about this game and are saying they will win large, based on comments I've read here and other sec sites

Yup. We have them flying into a Category 3 hurricane against their will as LSU fans are saying and we will make them stay for it. Muwahahaha.

Do you understand the concept of a trap game? LSU is not looking ahead to Southern Miss.

Some LSU fans are definitely overlooking them but I am not. And I can promise you Orgeron and staff aren't.

What do the comments of some LSU fans have to do with it being a trap game?

Every game is a "trap" game with an interim head coach

Let's see, a ranked conference rival this week, an OOC scrub next week...

Not sure a team with 2 losses can have a "trap" game. Every game becomes very meaningful. Losing to Florida would basically ensure a very bad year for LSU.

I suspect they'll come ready to play, and I think LSU wins by at least 2 touchdowns.

I can promise you coach O or the team are not over looking any game, big or small. The team has to prove their selves, and coach O is going to try his hardest to get the head coaching job. In that case I hope your team is ready for whats coming.

LSU is an unranked 3-2 football team without it's best RB, a backup QB and in interim HBC, if I was a Tiger fan I wouldn't be overly optimistic. Weather, venue changes, etc, aside. I believe UF wins a low scoring, close game. 17-14.

LSU is only a 3 pt. favorite, so this game doesn't really qualify. And frankly, LSU isn't good enough to have any "trap" games in the SEC right now. Anything could happen, sure (see 2001). But at this point, LSU will be doing well to finish 3rd or 4th in the West, which would mean that we managed to beat two of the following: Alabama, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Arkansas.

With O coaching for his dream job, no game this year will be a trap. Will he win every one? Probably not but I promise you he will not look past anyone.

No. Besides Davis, Tabor and wilson on D, Scarlett and Perine, and AC81 we're a complete mess from Mac on down. Some injuries, bad coaching from both sides of the ball. I have never seen a team play as bad as us in the 3rd qtr as us the last two games. I don't think Mac was ready to be a HC here. If he uses another retarded saying or analogy, I'm throwing something at the screen. LSU rolls big even without fournette. LSU has their own version of Earth, wind and fire in LF7, Guice and Williams. We can't stop cramping and making mistakes. Our most valuable player on O besides AC81 is our kicker. It maybe close in the first but it's gonna be ugly after halftime, again.

We are unranked and our season is basically over. What is a trap game?
