I am willing to bet that he is homesick, bummed that he couldn't get the starting position after being super confident that he could, and misses his smoking hot gf. He probably wants to go back to Corona in the beautiful Santa Ana mountains(I'M SO SORRY PHAZ PLEASE FORGIVE ME), where he can smoke great, cheap, legal meddy weed on the reg, bang his hot gf on the reg, and probably start classes and practice at USC next spring. Its stupid, he's stupid, college kids are stupid, but seriously, who gives a shite.

If Corona, CA was in the Sierra Nevada mountain range, that would be a cool story

Saban just intimated in his press conference that it wasn't official yet.

Too many Bama fans have already decided the kid is a no talent piece of shite quitter, so it's too late to have a change of heart.

Its an Alabama sub-forum on a SEC fansite discussing a high profile player and backup QB deciding to leave the team midseason.
If not something like this, what are we supposed to care about?

You are right, I guess I meant who gives a shite enough to call a college redshirt sophomore(SORRY SPLEEN PLEASE FORGIVE ME) names because he quit your favorite football team.

maybe the best thing for this kid is a smaller school with much less pressure.
This is a stupid comment.

The kid wants to start somewhere, who gives a shite if he wants to transfer. It literally has no affect on yall's lives, but it is a huge decision for him.
This is an intelligent comment.

Sure, it probably was an impulsive decision, but everyone on this board more than likely made stupid, impulsive decisions when they were that age, and I am willing to bet that there weren't a bunch of grown arse men calling you baby, and berating you for those decisions
Stop with the "they're just kids" stuff. No, they're not. They're men. Young men, sure. But, men. Damn sure old enough to know what commitment and loyalty mean. Quit absolving guys of responsibility for their actions just because they aren't 40 years old.

You couldn't wait until the end of the season you little s#!t?!!
I wish him well.

I simply called him an impulsive, ill-decision-making college aged human, and that this isn't that surprising.

Please tell me where I "absolved someone of responsibility." I am just making sense of the situation while refraining from getting so upset as to call Blake Barnett a childish name. I'm trying to provide a little perspective, I am sorry if you disagree with what I am saying.

Folks it's fine he wants to leave it's his life. I told you before his family was involved heavily, he can't stay consistent in practices, scrimmages, and is ok in games. Don't bring up his pass to OJ against Kent Staye he had all day and OJ was 10 yards away. He tripped over his own feet the play before. He is just unpredictable bottom line. Would have been nice to keep the depth but now Tua is for sure coming.

Wish him luck wherever he goes, appreciate his recruiting for us last yr.
Now. Bring on Tua and someone please see a voodoo witch and priest to put a healthy spell on Jalen.

Noticed this during the game. Right after Barnett's first series.
My thought at the time was that CNS didn't like what he heard Barnett saying and was setting him straight. Then Kiffin comes over... and welp.... if you don't like it, you can hit the road, Jack.
