Big12 is gonna collapse if they don't expand.

Boren is hoping the conference will implode under the weight of the morons in Austin and he'll get another shot at the SEC. If they expand, the dissolution of the Big 12 could stretch out for another decade or more.

Boren knows that if the XII expands that every school but tu will get a haircut in payout. There isn't a school out there that can incrementally increase tv revenue enough to pay for their addition. OU knows this and so does everyone else. So they are better off as a league to stay at ten and play a round robin. It would be stupid for them to play a championship game as it will guarantee a rematch.
Of course, tu won't be affected if they expand because of the LHN. This means they will expand if tu wants to expand, and add whomever tu wants to add.
So glad we got out of that hell hole.

No it doesn't. OU is a wallflower in the game of Big 12 expansion.
The president of Texas, the governor of Texas and the Lt. governor of Texas has all expressed support for UH in the Big 12. Texas calls the shots for that conference, so UH is basically a lock at this point.
Which is why OU is voting no, they Boren (once again) lost control of the process.

I could actually see them being more interested in the big ten. And since Nebraska is already there, it would already have a rival.

Big 12 schools shouldn't get the same consideration for playoff births playing one less game and no championship game.

I thought they are playing a championship game now? Also, remember they play only 3 OOC games. I'm not saying that it is equal to playing a championship game, because it is not. But at least they are playing 9 conference games.
