I'm gonna be 100% honest about the UGA-OM game

As a fan, I expect for UGA to win EVERY game. That's what being a fan is all about. However, I am also realistic. Before the season, I always thought that this team would lose 3-4 games. IMO, the Ole Miss game is one of them.

HOWEVER, what I do want to see, even if we lose, is the team being competitive. I don't want to see a blow out like Bama vs UGA last year. Win or lose, I want to see the players be competitive, give 100% effort, and leave it all on the field.

It's like one of those thoughts that should have popped into your head and left asap. Then you just made a thread about some fleeting thought.

So you're a fan that wants to see his team play well?

Mind blown.

The trick is to stay within 21 points right before the half.

It's a huge game for OM. Things could get ugly if the Rebs don't rebound against UGA IMO.

I expect Ole Miss to win but i wouldn't be surprised if they folded in the second half again.

So you want the Dawgs to win, but don't think they will, and you hope its a good game.

Good thread.

If Ole Miss doesn't stop the run, then they will lose again.
Bama had a true freshman QB and Ole Miss played their safeties back and let Bama run the ball.

You would think with such a young QB, Ole Miss would have loaded the box and forced the true freshman to beat you in the air.

I think UGA can beat OM, but Eason is going to have to be better than he was against Mizzou, which is a big ask.

I agree and the only way we win is if our defense plays like it did in the entire NC game and in the second half of the Mizzou game. We confused Lock and he threw into coverage and got intercepted a few times. I don't expect a veteran to make those mistakes but one can hope. Honestly, to beat Ole Miss we need to slow the game down, run the ball effectively, and convert on third downs. If we keep it close we can win. I don't expect us to keep it close. Our team has too many weaknesses and Ole Miss is a very good team.

Don't expect Mississippi to play as well as they did against Alabama. Teams rarely play with that intensity two consecutive weeks.
