Perhaps the same person who voted LSU 3? It's early, the votes are very spread out. There is a lot of movement. Lots of disparity for a bunch of teams. It will start to settle in around week 4-5.

Tennessee too high. Way too high.
Possibly true, but I can't name 3 teams that have definitively looked better than we have to start the year. That may speak to how slowly the collective conference has gotten out of the gate, because we sure as hell haven't looked like world beaters.

I have Tennessee at 4 behind Bama, A&M, and Arkansas in that order.
Obviously that can change for the worse or better.

I think this is true. Tennessee has almost looked like 2 teams in some ways. But every team has issues. For where we are in the season, I don't think the ranking is out of line. As you said, the entire conference has started out wobbly.

Lot of time between now and then. UT still has vs UF, @UGA, and @TAMU before they reach Bama. It's not out of the realm of possibility they enter the game 3-3.
Bama is @OM and @Arkansas, but UT is more likely to drop a game or two.

Someone honestly thought that State is better than Auburn?

South Dakota State has won like five FCS nattys in a row. They give anybody trouble. That being said, we beat Ole Miss two years in a row, so frick you we should be higher.
Wait that's North Dakota State oh well

Oh good. Because you beat Ole Miss the last two years that means you should be higher in this years poll...

The question remains is Ole Miss better? I guess we'll find out.

Fwiw, I can almost guarantee Arkansas will be higher than Ole Miss next week.

No, they went 8-5 last year and won 9 games the season before.

At the risk of sounding like a total homer, I don't see how you drop Auburn a spot to the lowest conceivable position after last week. I know there are now some questions about Clemson w/their struggle vs Troy...but LOTS of good teams have struggled a bit vs poor competition this year.
With a HORRIBLE game plan on offense that will never be seen again, Auburn was still in that game until the final whistle. With a better offensive game plan, AU looked MUCH sharper in week 2. And dropped?
Teams that have struggled against poor competition:
UT-and haven't played anyone
UGA-legitimately nearly lost to Nichols state...serious talk of the real possibility of losing to f***ing Mizzou
Arky
UF -kind of, looked good against UK though
All ranked above AU. I also don't see how LSU has a better resume or better prognosis as this point than AU. Clemson>Wisconsin. AU looked far better against their poor opponent than LSU. LSU appears to be in deep shite...Auburn appears to have momentum. Don't get that one at all. AU is favored of TAMU (although by less than the 7 pt swing you typically get from a home game...neutral field, TAMU would be favored). But would any of the teams ranked above Auburn be favored to beat TAMU at home? Besides Bama.

UT, 2-0 with a power 5 win. Easily above Auburn.
UGA, 2-0 with a power 5 win. Easily above Auburn.
UF, 2-0. No power 5 win, but no losses either. Looked good in wins. Argument could be made either way. I would still give the edge to Florida.
