It was a bullshite excuse. Dodds was asshurt that we didn't bow down to his command and stay in his shitty little conference. He threatened to stop the game in 2010, when we wouldn't agree to the FudgePac deal.

We don't want to play them because they're assholes. They will constantly look for a way to frick us over. You wouldn't do business with a guy who cheated you in the past. It would be a terrible business move to renew that series.

I agree. Play it for the fans and for ongoing rivalries.

I was just saying Texas plays their bigger rival.

No one cares about UT-A&M

Exactly. Texas has always had OU and we've been doing our own thing. Ive never understood why it's so hard for people to understand that both sides really don't care about playing each other

Good. Then there should be no issue with the game not taking place.

End of thread.

Don't run from your problems Ag, Texas still exists. The SEC sticker on your car will only protect you for so long before you have to face them again.

The horns are only my problem when they have home games the same weekends we do.
Driving from Houston to College Station whilst having to share the road with flocks of Priuses, Subaru Outbacks, and Honda Civic hybrids--all en route to Austin--makes for brutal traffic.

I'm more concerned with how much we're going to win by in Jordan Hare next week.

TAMU is scared to death of playing Texas. They wouldn't even play them when Texas was bad. You think they're going to play now that Texas is good?

That is complete bullshite. They refused to play anymore. Notice that is was several seasons before the LSU game was moved to the final game?

That was to keep a slot open in case we could get Texas to play.

I haven't seen Missouri, Nebraska, or Colorado anxious to play the whorns either because they are aholes.

Our home schedule for 2017 includes UCLA, Tennessee, Ole Miss, and LSU. Great schedule.

stronghorns home schedule sux and they are probably now the ones pushing this. Screw them!

These threads are always weird.

Most of you are from states that have 1 or 2 FBS level programs. Texans have a different perspective, because we have a bunch of them.

Texas is the elite football program (#3 all time in wins) with multiple post WWII national championships. A&M is like all the rest, one title in ancient times, big record of cheating, hasn't won a conference title in about 2 decades.

A&M, Tech, TCU, Baylor, Houston, SMU, etc, they're all the same. As long as we play one or two a year, we're doing our part to give the lesser state schools some exposure. Texas has no in-state rival because we have no in-state peer.

texass ran away from our rivalry game and said "uh, our schedule is full, that's why we cannot play Aggie anymore". But they had 2 open slots on their schedule

You're right, texashorn.
When the SEC offered us conference membership, we should have remained in the BDF, thereby avoiding false accusations from a few uninformed message board patrons.
Admit it: You're the top decision-maker during your shift at the job, aren't you?
