So, the way things are at this singular moment define the DBU argument for all eternity? Does this mean the Cubs are the best franchise in MLB history?!?

Maybe, just maybe, there should be a more comprehensive look at the situation:

Cruz vs Saints

ANYONE vs Saints
I'm shocked aggies have time to do this, considering all of the major sports championships they have to celebrate.

You keep on (rock!) shock! Cos this is it...
If you haven't already accepted this trade......

I think Eze-E gets hurt at some point, and Al Morris has a nice string of games.

Almost happened with Chris Simms. Unknowingly played with a ruptured spleen, was bleeding internally while playing, and was rushed in to surgery right after the game:

Just like they did with FSU, Houston was bullying OU in the trenches. I think the Sooners fight like hell for 2 or 3 qtrs, but OSU pulls away for a 2,000 point win.

Why do aggies always profer this as a reason for their inferior standing next to Texas?

The only meaningful season in Texas A&M football history happened when A&M was a male only military college.

As usual, you are simultaneously at war with yourself and common sense.

These threads are always weird.

Most of you are from states that have 1 or 2 FBS level programs. Texans have a different perspective, because we have a bunch of them.

Texas is the elite football program (#3 all time in wins) with multiple post WWII national championships. A&M is like all the rest, one title in ancient times, big record of cheating, hasn't won a conference title in about 2 decades.

A&M, Tech, TCU, Baylor, Houston, SMU, etc, they're all the same. As long as we play one or two a year, we're doing our part to give the lesser state schools some exposure. Texas has no in-state rival because we have no in-state peer.

The answer to any perceived unfair treatment by the media, or anything else that irks you related to college football, is to get it done on the field. A&M has to care about media perception, online polls about uniforms or stadiums and lawsuits over trademarks they didn't invent, because a&m NEVER gets it done on the field.

A&M hasn't finished better than 3rd in their division of the SEC, hasn't won a conference title since the 90s and won its only national title before the United States got involved with WWII. No wonder the get so jazzed up about this garbage, it's all they have on which to base their gross and homoerotic traditions.

They just man-handled FSU in their bowl game. Houston could beat anyone, and it wouldn't be a shock.

I doubt he would have beaten out the true freshman who was supposed to start at C (before he got hurt).

The Texas o-line has been historically bad the last few years. An absolute disaster. When Raulerson did get on the field, he was the bottom of the barrel. He was very highly recruited and by all counts is a great young man. He'll be a success in life, but it will have nothing to do with football.

Riiiiight. Texas' ego won't allow them to admit they aren't nearly as attractive of a program as they once were, so this clown has to throw allegations. He's like the loser who the pretty girl was polite to but never wanted to date, so now he's trying to say he never wanted to date her any way b/c of her reputation (which isn't bad).

Take a deep breath. I highly doubt that Bill Powers looked this guy from the local paper in the eye and said Saban was a cheater. At best, this is 3rd hand info. There were probably more degrees of separation than that.

We know some big-$ Texas boosters were making serious overtures to Saban's agent. No way that happens if the university leadership thinks Saban is a liability in terms of NCAA exposure.

This really sounds like some garbage talk from a disgruntled booster (who was upset because the hiring of Strong was an embarrassment), so he told someone who told this reporter that Powers never offered because he thought Saban was a cheater.
