That's the reality when ou consider we really only have a 4 game home schedule. PV, UTSA and NM are jokes. In fact, PV is a big frick you from the AD/12th Man Foundation to all season ticket holders. Especially, given 11 AM kickoff!

I'm actually kind of excited for the UTSA game.

I know I'm only 26 and don't make season-tickets money just yet but god damn that's a lot of money to spend on inevitable disappointment

If we're going to have an 8 game conference schedule I would really like to see 2 P5 OOC opponents. I know that can be easier said than done some years as far as logistics go but it would guarantee one of them would be at home every year. The years we have Colorado scheduled for instance I would love to see a B1G or ACC home and home also scheduled.

I am excited about the game this weekend.
I have been to enough fricking losses at Kyle as a student. I love soaking up those cupcake wins.

I don't think we will be able to set up two P5s per year until the damn deal at Jerry World ends.
It just puts too much stress on trying to set up 6-7 game home schedules to have it cock blocking potential away games in even numbered years.

Sounds like a good alter name, I am not gonna lie.
But seriously not every game is a big matchup, that is part of the experience that is college football. If you want a big-time game every week that is what the NFL is for.
I for one am happy that PV is getting a huge payday. They probably need it.

I get that it's out of some people's price range but the cheap seats have no donation required so it's not like you can't go for face value. You choose to have better seats and better seats cost more money

RC pretty much nailed it. Until the JerryWorld contract runs out or is cancelled or something, we're stuck with one P5 game per year. We're simply not going to do only 6 home games again until Kyle is paid off.

Yeah $750 is $240 more than my entire season ticket cost.

honestly, if you want to be pissed about the prices of anything it should be the B/CS hotels that triple their normal rates as well as force you to reserve the room for 2 days on game weekends even if you only need it for one.

If we didn't schedule schools like UTSA and PV, we would actually have less games at home per year and our schedule would be brutal. Schools like Clemson, UCLA, Colorado, and Notre Dame all demand a return game or a neutral site.
Also, the 11 AM kick off time is out of our hands. That's the network's call.
Sigh...This is becoming the new TA! People just complain about everything without looking up why the stuff they don't like happens. I didn't come back to tArk for this shite!

Sigh...the game is on SEC Alt. Hardly a network priority.
