It's not. Based off strictly week 1 results Texas is a top four team imo. I don't think they will be at the end of the season though.

Having not watched OSU or Michigan, these four were the most impressive teams. If Stanfords QB can consistently be above average I'll have to change my outlook on them. They looked ok.

Possibly the biggest of many week 1 overreactions in CFB this year is the thought that Texas is an elite team again. Give me Ohio State at 3, slide Houston to 4 and we'll call it a day.
