Can't argue UH being #1 after beating Oklahoma. Did anyone watch the TCU game? It was on in the background, but I can't exactly say there was a lot of analysis at the house at that point.

TCU is not #2 in my opinion. 4 at best based on weekend performance. TCU didn't look very good against the pass. Gave up a lot of yards and YPC was over 10 against them. Does not bode well for them in the B12.

tcu.

they gave up 41 points to the south dakota state jack rabbits. baylor is still probably better than both tcu and texas.

UH is absolutely number one. TCU being above Texas and Baylor is a joke. Would love to see Arky ram it down their throats this Saturday. Pretty crazy how badly the TCU D has regressed over the last few years

We're not that good right now. We have a lot to prove and a lot of talented teams to play. I hate these polls they pull out of their asses to garner clicks. Nobody knows anything yet. This ranking is way too damn early to be remotely accurate. Let's revisit this on November 1.

UH deserves to be #1. Right now.

TCU @ #2 is a complete joke though. They got the score run up on them by Little Sisters of the Poor.

I think it was always a mirage created by being the only Texas team in their old cupcake conference for so long.

They were 16th in Total D in 2012, 25th in 2013, 18th in 2014, then fell off a cliff last year and look to be even worse this year. They just stopped recruiting or developing talent because the staff has basically stayed the same as well

Kenny Hill also threw 2 picks.

Sure it was his first game in a couple years but.... what happens when he plays a defense w/half a pulse?

Don't know what happened to that guy. He consistently threw behind everyone on crossing routes. Will be interesting to see if he has gotten past that. It was his biggest problem in my opinion. We got away with it vs Arky. MSU was the game where that stuff really caught up to him.

I watched about a quarter of their game when it looked like SDSU was close, and I was not impressed at all by trill. Looked the same to me.

We would definitely beat UH.
It will be interesting to see how the Sips perform now that their is tape on Buechle, Burt, and Heard. I think they surprised ND. Think ND would have won easily if they hadn't been playing QB roulette.

Yeah, that switcheroo look works in one offs, but rarely over the course of a season.

Watch OU shut that foolishness down in the RRS. Not to mention they already feel like they owe the sips.

Also, what the frick is it with sip players and feeling the need to hoist charlie after every big win? Once? Ok.... Twice? Pushing it....

I've lost count now. It's....weird.

Something tells me that ranking is going to be way different at the end of the year.

Having said that, Baylor didn't look entirely bad. Why so low???

I'd agree with the whole premise of "just wait until teams have tape" etc. except theres another team running the same offense just a few hours north of Austin and no team in the Big 12 has figured out how to shut it down.
