Since the East remains down the favorite would have to be the HC least likely to frick it up.

Who would that be?

UF is a 7 or 8 win team. UGA has a chance to steal it if Eason ends up being the real deal as a freshman.

If UT does not win the East then Butch should be fired on the spot.

It's that simple.

Can anybody explain the UGA thing to me? I honestly don't get it?

New staff, true FR QB, star RB coming back from very serious injury, replace both OT, and lost 5 of their front 7.

I mean is there any reason other than them being Georgia?

I wouldn't pick Georgia, but people say that because Georgia has a lot of good players. That gives us a chance in a mediocre division.

I'm not saying you'll be awful, but you just have a ton of question marks. As many as any other team in the division.

I mean, I just don't see how anyone could NOT pick UT. They have the most talent, and the most experience. They are very clearly the overwhelming favorite.

I guess it's "edgy" to pick someone else, IDK

That's not true. Or at least our question marks have a lot more potential to work out ok.

But it is true, and all of that and you're starting a true FR at QB with an entirely new staff.

I like Florida or Georgia. Tennessee hasn't proven anything in a wide open division with solid chances.

But with better talent than some.

Georgia does not have as many question marks as USCe, Kentucky, Vandy, or Mizzou. Unless you count the parts of those teams that we know will be bad as not being question marks.

Well, you can take Kentucky/Vandy out. Never have and likely never will. South Carolina? Sure, but most expect them to be awful.

How do you not have as many question marks as Mizzou? You have more on defense(where we don't have many at all) we have more on offense (where we have a ton, but you also have your fair share)

1-17 vs 7-37 .. Not quite 3 times as many opportunities, but 7 times as many victories. Also, Alabama played the SEC East champion selectively more than a Vanderbilt or UK so that makes it even worse for the East.

Because people have heard of Kirby Smart.

Eta. By "people" I mean SEC fans.
