Y'all better be focused on App St. And not worrying so much about a national championship. Would be an utter embarrassment for you to pull a Michigan. And believe me, it can most certainly happen. Dear lord do I ever hope it does.

Yeah. One of those awesome running backs was buried on the depth chart at Alabama, which is why he transferred to UT.

uhh, why in the world would it hurt for a 4th team player to be processed? Maybe you live in a cave somewhere in those mountains, but Alabama has been winning SEC and national titles with the rbs that were better than he is. Oh yeah, and a Heisman for one of them .

I agree. We fans really need to focus because we might cause our team to lose.

Nevermind the fact even that Kamara was buried on the depth chart at Alabama, but he scored 7 tds and gained 53 yards per game running the ball and 22 yds receiving (I googled it). That's not the numbers for an "awesome running back" which you or one of your buddies posted in this thread. He's decent, and by most accounts you have another guy that is better, but Kamara is fairly average. He certainly isn't awesome.
edit: I guess it's all relative. To UT fans that may be awesome. To Alabama fans that is average.

So what happens if UT loses Astro Dobbs to injury?
How's their back-up QB situation?
We have two capable backups in Quinten Dormady and Sheriron Jones**.
However, the best QB we've got behind him is very likely Jarrett Gaurantano. He's a Dobbs clone as far as running goes but he also has a cannon for an arm. Although Dormady is our backup, it's expected that JG will have likely passed him by the end of Fall Camp. We will red shirt JG if at all possible.
That said, Dormady has a live arm and a year in the system. He was the backup last year. **S. Jones also has a year in but we red shirted him and haven't seen him in action. (He's a nice DT QB but was a bit raw when arrived on campus).
We never got to RS Dobbs who should really be an RS JR this year instead of a senior but with QD and S. Jones ahead of JG we should be able to red shirt JG.

Why is it such a big deal that you are so pissed that you get personal about it? It's no huge thing imo. Were he still at Alabama I'm sure he would play this year. He wouldn't start by any means, but he'd play. He's not an every down back, and evidently not even for Tennessee.
You guys have just sucked so long that you're touchy about the least little thing. Kind of sad, really.

I guess I stand corrected. The week before that, Alabama has to play perennial powerhouse Kentucky while Tennessee gets to play...what was your term, "soft as baby shite"?...Georgia.
I thought someone earlier posted that Alabama gets Arkansas before that game and Tennessee gets A&M. Misread it, I guess.

Do they give out participation trophies for winning the sec in August every year. We know they don't win after the season is underway

Yes, you did misread it. The post was that the three weeks before, Alabama gets Kent State, Kentucky, and Arkansas...a much easier three week stretch from a physicality standpoint than Florida, Georgia, and Texas A&M...Arkansas not withstanding. And as weak as aTm might be, a road trip to College Station will be significantly more demanding than Tennessee's opponent last year the week before TSIO.
