UGA. Grew up in Georgia and pretty much all my friends were UGA fans.

I got into UGA, but I didn't seriously consider it after I visited USC.
There's a part of me that thinks I could have enjoyed UF. Thought about going there for grad school for a little while.

Tennessee, had Ole Miss not of offered me such good scholarships I most likely would have gone to Tennessee.

Most of the responses on here have been UGA. Makes me wonder how they don't have #1 recruiting classes every year. It's got everything as a school.

They do less with more.
Athens is a badass but for some reason they can't quite break through.

Why not just go to MIT and get to enjoy Boston?
Because Phelps county has better meth than Boston.
To answer the OP: aTm and UF are the only SEC schools other than Missouri with research reactors. Of those two, I would have chosen UF.

Based of my love for Widespread Panic, UGA would have been fun. Fantastic music scene in Athens!

Great town, great music scene, great academics, relatively close to a major city, and have you seen the peaches on that campus?
Count me in for UGA as well.

Vanderbilt cause I'm from Nashville and well, duh, it's a Vandy degree. Even though I strongly detest Vanderbilt.

Alabama. While some of you hate them, we've always gotten along with them. I can't speak for all Msu fans though.

LSU - grew up in Louisiana but LSU didn't have what I Needed and Ole Miss did. First Lsu ole miss game as an ole miss fan Lsu ran for lke a 30 yard run and I jumped in the air and while up there I realized ooooohhh no good so I screamed uhhh stop him! The rivalry was pretty intense at the tme as Vaught was the coach!

The other big state schools I got accepted to were Texas and OU.
Wow, you got into Texas but chose Arkansas? Damn son you failed in life.

LSU. I was accepted there (as well as every other school I applied to) but my love of Carolina and the Gamecocks was just too strong for me to go anywhere else.
But I was seriously tempted to go to LSU..and I am still fond of them to this day.

I have credits from like six different schools. LSU is the only SEC school I attended though... Probably would have had fun and learned a lot at any of them.
I applied for an academic scholarship at Vandy but didn't get it. I did get one at a small private school in Alabama and went there for two years before transferring to LSU.
