Arkansas fans are you happy with Bielema?

In three years he's only 18-20 Overall & 7-17 in conference with a loss to Toledo. It's doesn't look like he's lived up to expectations to me. If y'all have a bad year like 5-7 or 4-8 could he get canned?
These 9 teams are half of his total wins at Arkansas
Lafayette
Samford
Southern Miss
Nicholls
Nothern Illinois
UAB
UTEP
UT Martin
Bielema vs the West
Alabama 0-3
Texas A&M 0-3
Mississippi State 0-3
Auburn 1-2 ( A four OT win)
OM 2-1 ( 4th & 25 miracle)
LSU 2-1

I think Arkansas is happy with 7-5 and 8-4 seasons so he should be fine for the foreseeable future.

You ever heard of John L. Smith?

Bielema is one of the best coaches in the sec so I'd say they're pretty happy with their situation

I'm very happy with him. Arkansas is not an easy job and when you fall down in this conference you get stomped on. We are almost back to being very good. Yes we were very good Petrino's last two years.

yes. he's improved every season he's been here
thankfully we're fans of a school not dumb enough to give an extension to a coach who's record has gotten progressively worse. man it would suck to be stuck with a coach like that.

I think he deserves a pass on Bama for obvious reasons. Interesting how he's beaten some really good Ole Miss and LSU teams, but has only one win against everyone else in the west (even excluding bama). I know that was just repeating facts.. but the conclusion I come to is Arkansas can compete with just about anybody. They haven't put it together for an entire season yet IMO

Bielema is turning around the program. Players aren't getting arrested anymore (I think only like 3-4 in the past 2 years combined). Best GPA for Arkansas players ever. Increased win totals each year.
Listen. Arkansas is not Alabama, LSU, Auburn. We just don't get those recruits. Never have; never will. You have to base coaching on the relative talent they have/ able to get. Bielema is doing fine because he brings the total package (especially after Petrino/John L situation).

He was the same way at Wisconsin. He was terrible against good teams. 7-9 wins is a great season for Arkansas

I would be more worried if he came in last in his third season than worrying about what he did his first two with other coaches recruits

I think that this would be an excellent thread to bookmark for an Arkansas fan, considering it comes from an Auburn fan...irony may be lurking in the bushes.

Honestly I think Arkansas fan's regard for Bielema is a bit mixed. We like the program he is building but the slow starts he is prone too are murder. Losing to a team in week 2 that you would trounce in week 12 wears on you after a while.
On the other hand his teams tend to have one hell of a finishing kick to the season.

We had to rebuild everything in our program...culture, academics, brand and product on the field. He's doing a good job IMO in all of these areas and improving win totals year after year. If we didn't play in the SEC West we may have seen quicker results and I don't believe he is in any jeopardy of losing his job any time soon. A few losing seasons in a row is the only way he gets canned.

We are happy with the progress each year.
We know what he started with.
We are knowledgeable.
For example - we warned Ole Miss about Houston.
We gave you a heads up on Malzhan.
Are we where we want to be? Not yet, but headed that direction.
Only time will tell to what level CBB's total rebuild will take us.
He has proven that his brand of football can defeat Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas... and play Bama close. Never could get a handle on Dak Prescott, but we may break that streak this year.
So, in short, yes, we are fairly happy at the moment.

You realize that Arkansas' record has improved every year since Beleima has taken over and Auburn's has gotten worse every year since Malzahn has taken over, right?

I truly believe Bielema had no idea how tough the SEC was until his first two years here. Coupled with a decimated roster and various arrests, it took him three solid seasons to build a decent team. No team should be satisfied with 7 or 8 wins as a peak but the progress that he is showing is encouraging.

I'm kind of averagely ok with Bielema. I no longer care enough to get genuinely upset or whatever it is I'm supposed to do.
I think a losing season and he's definitely on the hot seat.

Bert's had to rebuild the program from day 1. What he's done from changing the culture of the program, to improvements in academics, to taking fewer risks with "troubled" student athletes was much needed after the Petrino/JLS era.
I feel he's building it the right way, which naturally takes some time. We'll see how this year goes. Looks like we'll have a good D. It all hinges on how fast the new O-line gels and how AA reacts when the bullets are flying.
For a new starting QB in the SEC, at least he gets Bama, LSU, OM, and UF at home.
