Sadly, I am not playing 3rd base for the Yankees.
However, I do love my job and enjoy each day.

My dream job would be a porn actor. However, I'd probably be very bad at it from an outside perspective, and my wife and kids would probably disapprove.

"dream" and "job" have never been associated in my mind, but I like what I'm doing. And like the OP, I won't say what that is.

I know I was born to farm, but with how bad/volatile prices are I know I'd die of a heart attack due to being overly stressed. I learned a lot, but I like the ease of the job/industry that I'm currently in.

I wanted to be a race driver but I am a drunk and it never panned out. Work in financial planning for which I hold degrees/certifications. Kind of?

My dream is to never work, travel the world, watch sports, drink and spend time with my family and get paid 6-7 figures to do it

I was but I got out of it due to not getting me time.

I didn't mind the 80 hr work weeks or missing some holidays. I hated missing Christmas and working camps.

I am in the correct industry but in a different role than I thought I would be. It's a lot different than I thought it would be but I'm liking it so far.

I like my job but the grass is always greener on the other side I suppose.

Jobs that would be enjoyable:
Charter Boat Captain
Fighter Pilot
Formula 1 Driver

Never even crossed my mind growing up that I'd be in the industry I'm in.

But I enjoy it and enjoy what I do. Can't ask for more than that.

Though not my dream job / field growing up, I love what I do and it would take a lot for me to consider doing something else.

Carolina_girl, have you ever been on a tornado chase? I don't do that, and you couldn't get me close to one, but with a word I could get you a tag-along spot on one if you ever get a wild hair.
