Biggest bust these NCAAs from the SEC: LSU, MSU, A&M, USC, OM, or Vandy?

Have to go with A&M with MSU in a close second. LSU and USC overachieved, I think. We knew Ole miss would flame out. And Vandy...... entirely understandable there.
A&M was the scariest team going into the tourney, IMO. I'm sad for the fans that they aren't in Omaha, but I am not sad that the team didn't make it because I wouldn't want to face them.

Biggest bust is Louisville.

Vandy doesn't even belong in the discussion with the other 5.

Updated the title for you for clarity.

LSU made it to the Supers as a National seed after returning 1 everyday starter.
We definitely overachieved.

Biggest bust is Ole Miss. Hard to say Vandy is given the circumstances. Next would be A&M as they are, without question, a top 3 team in the country top to bottom. I think LSU overachieved, although it is still frustrating to lose a home super regional.

Knock Vandy out of this discussion due to the unfortunate circumstances.
I don't think LSU was even expected to make the CWS this year. I didn't really even think they would end up get to the Super Regional.
I'd be kind of aggravated if I was a USC fan. Holbrook has been there since 2013 and has only made it to the Super Regional. I don't think they were expecting a CWS though.
A&M for me. Top 15 batting average, top 50 on base %, 2nd in the NCAA in hits, 62 home runs, around a 3 ERA, great fielding %, and great pitching.
Florida doesn't win it all though, then they're the biggest bust. Way too talented of a team.

I don't understand why even our own (SEC) fanbases are being so dramatic and reactionary like you're E!SPN because all but one school didn't reach the College World Series. There have consistently been 3-4 virtually every year for basically the last 10 years or so. This year is an anomaly. The SEC is not "overrated," sometimes upsets happen in sports and (beter) teams get beat.
I also don't understand these idiots from out West claiming we're "overrated," because if true---it only diminishes their accomplishment.
To answer your question, I don't think anyone was a "bust" other than Ole Miss. But in fairness, considering they were a serious candidate for a National Seed, their Regional was BY FAR the toughest in the entire bracket.
Vandy does not count.
The other schools all reached Super Regionals. Hardly a "bust," though sure a couple of them should have won...
Texas A&M specifically has no grounds to be called a "bust," they lost to a legit TCU squad.

well also, in fairness, they were eliminated by the two teams who didn't make it out of that regional.

After one of their players, unexpectedly passed away. They had a whole lot more than a game, going on.

Good grief man. One of their players died unexpectedly the day before the tourney started.

I had A&M winning it all, so they would be my biggest bust.

I spent too many years on TexAgs (before the permaban). The definition of a "bust" thread here is much different.
