Please let me know if any subtractions, additions, or changes that need to be made to this spreadsheet as it applies to your school/team. Thanks ...
Davis Daniel is coming back for Auburn btw
That would shocking. 11th round picks almost always sign - in fact I'd wager he worked a deal out last Tuesday night. MLB teams expect to sign 11th round picks. "Everyone" is coming back or going to college right now - the draft les...
I think we take a step back next year after losing our top 2 pitchers and best position player.
Maybe but ya'll lost AJ Puk, Dane Dunning, Logan Shore and Shaun Anderson two years ago and won the National Title last year without them. Plus Alonzo at 1B. And Buddy Reed in CF (thou...

He was your fricking Friday night starter and was a 3rd round draft choice. I know that much. You're the one caught up with SEC-only stats and meaningless W-L records for a starting pitcher. ...

Yes I'm well aware of all that. But LSU will be 3-4 games better. Alabama should be 2-3 games better. Ole Miss and Arkansas will be good, as always. Auburn will still be good. Texas A&M is pretty much always good. ...

You can keep waiting. You're insufferable. Do you want me to tell you who lead ya'll in W-L (meaningless) and ERA? Konnor Pilkington started every Friday night and Small every Saturday. Not sure your point. And Billingsley started 9/10 Sundays. Two of them are gone and the third could be. ...

Mississippi State will go 23-7 next year. And 22-4 out of conference. Are you happy now? Good Lord you're the only poster in this entire thread that is being overly combative. It's very early bro. ...

Not arguing LSU should be awesome but it is also important at this point we note that you can't really take MLB Draft or Perfect game rankings into account for pitchers especially in terms of instant impact. They are scouted relative to MLB potential not how good they will be in the SEC as a fre...

It's the SEC. Everyone can't go 20-10. Everyone doesn't improve. Everyone can't win. Do you pay attention to other programs or just Mississippi State? It's not crazy to flucutuate from 15-15 to 12-18 from one year to the next - even if you return a lot of your "starters." You're also for...

To be clear I think State may go about 12-18/13-17 or so. So define that drop-off. No one, including myself, expected Kentucky to go 13-17 this past year FYI. Long way between now and May of 2019 but a couple of you State fans are greatly overrating what you have returning & possibly coming a...

Exactly. I mean if he's implying Pilkington isn't that good or productive because of his ERA in SEC games, then I shudder to think what replacement guy like a Peyton Plumlee or insert JUCO transfer would do. ...

Batting averages. Cool. The fact Pilkington and Billingsley combined for 7 wins doesn't help your argument. 20 college players were selected in the 26th round last year. 17 signed pro. I'd pump on the breaks on assuming Ethan Small returns. He's not a "true" draft-eligible sophomore he's h...
Asinine. We have a team full of freshmen with an interim head coach, and so many other issues this year. We will not take a step back, but we will improve.
People always assume freshmen improve significantly. Look I could easily be wrong but State will be relying on a lot of y...

I'm not sure what JUCO signees Texas A&M has - they are always a wildcard for me. As a general rule, at this point I'd assume any recruit drafted in the top 24ish rounds will sign pro...anyone after will make it to campus. Put A&M will take a hit losing Kolek, Kilkenney, Sherrod and Hoffma...

I think Arkansas will find some quality arms between the likes of Caleb Bolden, Kole Ramage, Hunter Milligan, Zeb Vermillion, Jackson Rutledge. Unlikely all of them pan out for next year but too much talent for several to not stick. Couple with some other arms, plus newcomers...Arky should still...

Probably losing their entire weekend staff of Pilkington, Small and Billingsley. Plus 3 of the top high-leverage relievers in Smith, Neff and France. That's the central reasoning. I could be wrong obviously it's a guess at this point but fans always overrate incoming players and assume e...
